Chapter 10: Erina's first arrest 2

Erina recieved a call in her cellphone from her parents while she was talking with Beat and Vinnie. The cellphone of Erina was pure white with some tribal drawing in the back.
-Erina: Wait a moment, I have to answer the call.
Erina answers the call.
-Erina: Who is there?
-Erina's mother: It's me, your mum!
-Erina: Why are you calling now?
-Erina's mother: We recieved now a letter. The Church has sent the letter! They are inviting you and a bodyguard to go to their party! Even the CEO of an important architecture business will come!
-Erina: Which architecture business?
-Erina's mother: Vangleim! You are famous thanks to your hard work!
-Erina: Well, I had job to do...
-Erina's mother: This is far more important! Even the church will come!
-Erina: Okay I'll go.
Erina ends the call.
-Beat: What is happening?
-Erina: No need for a fake identity. I'm invited by the church.
-Beat: Anything can go worse?
-Vinnie: Nah. Hard to get worse.
-Erina: Why you say that?
-Beat: You'll see. I'll go to grab some things. I'll see you later in your house.
-Erina: Wait! No! Wait me here! I can come walking!
-Beat: Nah. Better that we see in your house. That way the church won't think nothing wrong.
-Erina: Okay... “Mom will see him. And not joking, Beat is handsome... I feel that I'm going to have a bad time."
Erina leaves and goes to her home to get ready.

Meanwhile, Beat goes to the armory to grab several things.
Beat POV.
Really, the church? I hope that Hendricks doesn't come. He always tries to kill me. Everytime we see each other, we end killing each other around 10-15 times.
These Church soldiers are a trouble. They hunt monsters without control and get paid more. Also they have been through a hell. Like I'll let a scientist put me angels cells in my body until the point of breaking it.
Well, the Church created them to protect humanity against monsters and humans with powers. Soldiers filled with a regeneration that is high but not at the point of mine, also they have been trained to kill monsters.
And if it wasn't the worst with all the experimentation and all the modifications, they are fanatics. And the best subjects for this transformation are little girls and some adults enough fanatic to endure being broken down and being fixed and don't lose control. Well, those adults are pretty crazy. And the girls are more brainwashed than the victims of a vampire.
Still, if we want to catch Ceasar Winggates, we should not want Hendricks there. If we both start shooting, I think that Winggates die. Well, and Erina in the way too. He's quite dangerous. Luckily I can't die so easily.
POV's end.
Beat arrives to the armory and see Trish grabbing a lot of grenades, bombs, crux exploders, ammunition clips, and all that can help. Trish sees Beat.
-Trish: Beat! All ready for 40 days of fight!
-Beat: Why you prepare that much?
-Trish: In case that Hendricks come! And make sure that Erina gets out of there!
-Beat: That's the plan.
-Trish: But tell me, she's pretty. You and her...?
-Beat: I'm not like certain Church people! I don't know nothing about her! Only that she's a genius, that she isn't totally a newbie and that she's a nice girl!
-Trish: Beat saying so many nice things of someone? Beaaaat... We can start hearing wedding bells?
-Beat: No! Never!
Beat grabs all the bombs and the rest of things and leaves.

After some hours, Erina is in the door of her house with her mother. Erina is wearing a provocative red dress, with a pair of red highheels. She has put a little of makeup, making her look even prettier than before. Now she had a pair of pigtails instead of her long hair.
Beat arrived and saw Erina and couldn't avoid look surprised. Erina was so pretty that he could not take his eyes off her.
Erina's mother looked Beat and well she couldn't avoid to giggle a little. She started whispering with Erina.
-Erina's mother: That handsome man is your bodyguard?
-Erina: And my boss.
-Erina's mother: He is Beat Graves!? He looks so young and handsome that no one could say that he's a big monster hunter. But by his face, I think that now he's very surprised to see you so pretty. Is there something between you and him?
-Erina: No! I'm not like that! You know that!
-Erina's mother: I don't say that you should be with him because he's your boss. I'm saying that he's hot and he would be great as a boyfriend.
-Erina: You don't know how is he...
-Beat: Excuse me for looking you so much Erina! You are really pretty right now. “For not saying hot! Holy heavens! She has a boyfriend of what!? Even I think that she's beautiful!"
-Erina: No problem boss. Well, we have a party to attend. Shall we?
-Erina's mother: Excuse me! I'm Erina's mother. You are Beat Graves?
-Beat: Yes. Maybe you doubted because I did not say a joke. But someone should call the firefighters, because or there is something burning or your daughter is smoking hot!
-Erina's mother: (laughs) That's a cliché one.
-Beat: I know. But I was not prepared this time!
Meanwhile, Erina is blushing thanks to the joke of Beat.
-Erina: Boss! You shouldn't say that! Many people will look you as someone that can end with a companion of work!
-Beat: Sorry! But I'm not used to parties! Shall we go?
-Erina: Okay!
Beat and Erina start going to the party.

Sorry, I know what I said last chapter! But I don't want to put like 5K in a chapter. Better going doing parts. Also this works for making interactions with different characters. And also using Beat POV can make me able to explain things that happens in this story's world.
