Chapter 43: Erina finds the culprit!

Erina kept investigating all what she could find related to the case and with Alphonse and Vinnie help she found the one that was killing those who worked with Hendricks. And the answer was really disturbing.
It was a monster who were in the war that found out the plan of Hendricks, and decided to stop it no matter what would happen later.
Its name was Saraniel and as said before he was in the monster army and was a sniper. 100 targets eliminated per mission, he was the best sniper of the monster army but a shot in the leg left him unable to fight anymore but this time seems that Saraniel had to stop this conspiration.

And he made it go three times slower and allowed Beat to learn about Hendricks plan. Truly he should be called a hero of the monsters but this murdering was literally a crime so Erina as much as this hurted her had to capture Saraniel. She found his house that was in the residential district a went there. It was a fine house of 2 floors filled with trophies, photos of his sons and daughters.
Erina knocked the door of the house and saw Saraniel, he was a tall werewolf with countless scars, golden eyes, wearing a black tank top, jeans and black shoes.
-Saraniel: So you found out who killed those bastards. At least you know what they were planning?
-Erina: Yes. My companion, Beat, found out because he knew about Hendricks.
-Saraniel: I'm glad. If you can save monsterkind, I'll gladly take any punishment for my actions.
Erina saw his eyes and saw the eyes of someone that was in peace. That broke any type of will to capture him that Erina had but she had to. At least she could do it kindly.
-Erina: Sir, even if you have done well... You killed people and monsters. You will have to come with me.
-Saraniel: I understand, miss. But Hendricks has been stopped?
-Erina: He will be stopped. I hope that shortly.
-Saraniel: That's a relief. But you should hurry to stop him. If his plan works...
-Erina: Beat has stopped that plan once. He can do it twice.
-Saraniel: Well, then I can be happy.
-Erina: Sir, I should not say it... but I have to. Even if your method was flawed and wrong, you have been a hero for monsterkind. I am deeply sorry to have to capture you.
-Saraniel: Do not be! I did something wrong and I'll pay the price! Sometimes even if it is a crime there are things that you must do.
-Erina: You talk exactly like Beat.
-Saraniel: Let's get over with it. You seem to worry for him so I'll go quietly.
-Erina: Thank you sir.
Erina handcuffed Saraniel and took him to the police who put him in a cell for all the murdered people and Erina went quickly to White Hope HQ. She had to carry better weapons if she had to take down Hendricks.

After 30 minutes of going with the metro, Erina arrived to White Hope HQ and went to the armory where Trish was waiting.
-Erina: Trish, give me your best antiregeneration equipment.
-Trish: Going after Hendricks? Then you don't need them. A man with angel cells always dies at 50 years old. He is 50 years. So wait a day or two and shoot him to death. He will die.
-Erina: I want to capture him.
-Trish: The same. But you will need smoke grenades, flash grenades, cross grenades, a pair of silver knives, a handgun which you have and a lot of protection equipment.
-Erina: How much?
-Trish: Two of each grenade, a kevlar vest, a helmet and 3-4 clips of ammo.
-Erina: Okay. Prepare it. I'll go to support Beat.
-Trish: Alphonse will go and Vincent too.
-Erina: So 4 only for Hendricks... I am worried for Beat.
-Trish: I should worry more about one thing more. We have been confirmed that one donation of blood has been stolen. Your blood. And by a man of the church, so surely Hendricks will use a created human. A synth as we call them. Done by your DNA and Beat's surely.
-Erina: Why Beat's DNA?
-Trish: It can either turn the human into an unkillable human or a killing human.
-Erina: (angry) I am going to stop him. I won't forgive that action!
Erina waits for Trish to get all the equipment ready.

Erina has learned the truth! And she is going after Hendricks! What will happen?
