So guys, here is a situation I have. My dad kinda doesn't know I have wattpad, and let's just keep it that way for now, or I AM OFFICIALLY DEAD.
Got it? DEAD.
I will tell him..but not anytime soon. When I am expected to study all day(which I don't btw).
Dad(new to wattpad): opens a book by notme16. How old do you think this writer will be?
Me:(awkwardly) don't know dad. But what do you think about the books?
Dad: meh! I don't know. Did you read any of these? What do you think?
Me:(again awkwardly) nope! Not at all! I did not. I don't know (waaay too quickly and voice with an octave higher.)
Mom was smirking at the scene.
I WILL GET BACK AT YOU MOM!
Jk! I love you mom if you are reading this,but please don't pull that stunt on me again...I might as well have a mini heart attack!
Gawd! You should have seen my face. And my mom was waay too smug about it.
My dad is one jovial person but I have no guts to tell him I write on wattpad. I will, someday.
He then started reading some other books and after sometime says..
"Wattpad isn't that bad, and the writer 'notme16' seems a bit immature, so I conclude must be a teenager."
He said only that much, much to my relief.
Phew!
I have a feeling, maybe he figured it out already and is testing me?
GOSH! Parents can be SO tricky.
But I lie as smooth as ice(my face).
I am as graceful as a swan(possessed with monkey/donkey spirits)
SO..I hope you got my situation.
Do suggest me on how to escape if the situation replays anytime soon.
And ya, please don't mind my writing if it is immature. I just hope you find it hilarious and tell me if I have to change anything about the way I write.
