“How’d you feel right now? This will be your first day in school?” I asked my cousin Rain who have just sitting right next to me.

Rain Jazz Fortaleza, were cousins ‘coz our both fathers were brothers. They both died on the same day and on the same accident; a car accident. He arrived last week from New York. I’m just older one month that’s why we became so close like a twin brothers. He stayed in New York for about 6 years then now, he decided to back and study here. His mom accepted his decision and now he’ll be going to study on the school he was supposed to enter in high school 6 years back then.  We both decided that it will be pretty much good if he will choose Pearl of the Pacific School over La Salle, it’s because I am there!

“Kinda excited and a little bit nervous! You know, new school, new environment another time for adjustments. I do hope that sooner or later I’ll find a friend!”

“I’m really curious, why you didn’t choose to be in Section A?”

“I don’t know. Maybe it’s because less pressure. I know that everyone of you there are son of Newton! Hahahah :D You all are genius!”

“That’s not true! Some of them are just using money just to be in that section and to be my classmate so that it’ll be easy  for them to stalk me wherever I go and whatever I do!”

“Whoaaaahh! You’re blowing your own horn! Are you serious by saying that every girl in school is so obsessed on you?”

I just nodded.

“Shame on you!! Hahahha” he shouted.

We just were chatting for the whole journey to school. Talking about his stupidness in New York. As we arrived in school, I accidentally glanced out of the window when I noticed the girl busy putting her bike on the bicycle rack. It was her again!

“Can we go now?” Rain asked me.

“You go first! I’ll just check my bag!”

“Alright!”

 He set off out of the car then I left inside of it. I’m still staring at the girl. I waited until she entered the building where she belongs. I took a deep breath then, took off the picture out of my pocket. It was her. The girl who fated to ruin my life.

After a few minutes, I took off out of the car then went to my class. I used the elevator instead of the rungs. I am sure everyone will be get stun if they saw me using stairs. As I enter our classroom, I sat near the window, get my book and put headsets on their spot. That’s my usual life routine.

3 songs played, after a while, I felt someone staring at me. I looked back and checked the whole room. I looked outside of the wall glass but I saw nothing. I stood up and go outside of the door. I saw a girl walking fast on the hallway. As she turned left through the stairs, I heard a voice calling her attention. After that, I get back to my chair and continued what I am dong.

The class started and the whole atmosphere begins to be so dreary. I suffer for about 3 hours of sitting at one corner listening to the teachers who just talking about the story of their life and looking on their phones every minute.

***Bell rang

“Class dismissed”

Finally! It’s done.

I put all my books inside of my bag.

“Gian!” I heard a voice.

“Oh! Kelly! How’s you?” I said talking to the girl whom I adore so much.

“Want some help?” she asked.

“Help of?”

“Help you to get your books inside of your bag!”

“Ah! Hahahah! No need. Hungry?”

“Sort of. Can we eat together?”

“Why not? Let’s go”

We both went to the canteen to put some foodstuff on our stomach. I waited her on the table while she’s ordering for our snack.

After a minute, I heard shouts. I looked around and I saw Kelly totally in mess. I spur-of-the-moment to know what’s going on.

 “What happened Kelly?!” I asked her.

“Oh Shi*t! Who messed up with your dress?”

“Gian! No need to worry about! It’s just an accident and she really didn’t mean to ruin my dress”

As I looked at the girl who’s standing in front of her, I saw that girl again!

And you know what happened next. I didn’t control myself saying awful things to her. I know that I really hurt her so much, it’s not my intention. Maybe, I just ended up to that because of the fact that the time is coming! The date where my life ends.

She stormed out of the canteen. I felt guilt stubbed into me.

“Gian! You must not do that! You get her upset! She’s telling the truth! She didn’t mean to mess up with me!” Kelly said full of fuming.

“What happened?! What’s that commotion?” I saw Rain standing near the exit.

“I’m sorry Kelly! I have to go to the comfort room!”

I rushed out and went to the comfort room.

I stood up in front of the mirror.

“What I have done?” I said.

“She might get offended!”

I sighed. I looked my reflections at the mirror and then I noticed the necklace I was wearing for about 18 years. A necklace given to me by Lolo. I took it out of my shirt and stare on its pendant. A ring.

“I am sure! The ring that she was wearing is same as this ring. Did she already aware about their plans? Or until now… she’s still unconscious about it. “

What will happen to both of us?
