Divergent;an alternate ending

Chapter 6

Tris POV

Tobias knocks on the door. A few seconds later, Uriah comes and opens it.

"Hey People" He says. "Come on in."

Tobias and I walk hand in hand to the party. I spot Christina and Will and Lynn and Marlene and a couple of other Dauntless, probably Tobias's age. I also see Lauren and Zeke with a couple of people.

"Drinks over there, Party everywhere, and-" Uriah stops. "Are you two dating?" He asks.

"What makes you think that?" Tobias says with a smile, and sqeezes my hand.

Uriah looks at us and starts to smile widely. "I knew that Four had the hots for Tris!" He says loudly enough for Lynn an Marlene to look over. Marlene runs over and hugs me. Tobias lets go but still stays near. "Really?" She says. I nod and smile.

"I say we celebrate with drinks," Zeke says, making his way over to us. Everybody "woots" and heads over to the bar. I stay behind and Tobias comes over to me with a drink.

"It's good, not a lot of alcohol." he says, handing me a drink called a "pina colada". I sip it, and it tastes good. Christina comes over to me and the music starts blaring.

"Let's dance!" She says. She grabs my arm and pulls me over to the dance floor. I start "dancing" which is pretty much just shaking my hips a little and occasionally fist pumping. I just copied what Christina was doing, since I never had a party.

After a while, I get a little thirsty and head over to the bar and grab a water. I find the couch and take a seat. Will comes and sits next to me.

"Never had a party huh?" He says.

"What? I say.

"You have never had a party have you?"

"No, Abnegation doesn't do that." I say.

"I know." He says. "I never really had a party like this either. Mostly Erudite parties were people gathering drinking fizzy drinks and talking about smart stuff. I hated it."

"Really?" I ask.

"Yeah." He replys.

Christina comes over to us, obviously drunk and says "Party poopers." she pouts.

"Christina I just danced with you for like 20 minutes." I say.

"Whatever. I'm gonna go get another drink." She says, and heads over to the bar.

"I'm gonna make sure she doesn't have too much." Will says standing up and following Christina to the bar.

Tobias walks over to me and plops down next to me. He tried not to get too drunk, but is a little tipsy.

"Heeey pretty lady" He says.

"Heeey Tobias." I say back.

"Why are you here." He says.

"Well, I don't know much but I think it all started when my mom and dad met." I say, smiling at him.

"Ha ha." He says. "Dance with me."

"Are you sure you're not drunk Four?" I ask.

"Just a little," He says, pulling me to the dance floor.

After 20 minutes of awkward dancing on my part, Zeke speaks up and yells, "Anyone up for a game of truth of dare?" everybody hoots and we make a circle. Some of the older Dauntless left, so it's just Me, Four, Christina, Will, Uriah, Marlene, Lynn, Zeke, and Lauren.

"Alright," Uriah says, "the rules are if someone asks you a truth or dare, you have to do it,or you can be a pansycake and just take off an article of clothing.

I can already see that tonight is going to be a long night.
