Tris POV
"Come on babe, you have work today," Tobias says, kissing me lightly on my lips. My eyes flutter and look into his deep blue ones. I smile and he smies back.
"Okay, help me?" I say. Tobias gets out of bed and carrys me to the bathroom and leaves. I take off my clothes and slip on a water resistant bag type thing, so when I shower, my cast won't get wet. I hop into the shower and let the warm water run down my body and soothe me. I have some bruises from two nights ago but they're not bad.
"Tobias," I yell once I'm done. He rushes in.
"What's wrong?" He says.
"Towel?" I say, smiling. He hands me a towel and I wrap it around myself. He helps me out of the shower.
"Thanks big guy," I say smacking his abs.
"Hah Tris," He says and then gets in the shower. I hobble back into our bedroom and attemp to get dressed. I put on shorts since I can't get on jeans and a black v-neck. I put on my necklace, ring, and bracelet. I apply mascara and eyeshadow and Tobias comes out of the bathroom. I throw my wet hair into a messy bun and Tobias is ready.
"Ready crutchey?" He says.
"Tobias, if I could run, you'd be dead right now." I say. We walk out of our apartment and head to the cafeteria. I sit and he grabs muffins for us.
"Heey Tris," Uriah says.
"Hey Uri," I say.
"Candor or Dauntless at my place tonight. Coming?"
"Yeah." I say. Tobias comes back with muffins and we eat.
"Shauna, what's on your finger," Christina asks suspiciously.
"Um, Zeke proposed." She says blushing. All the girls aww and the boys clap Zeke on the back.
"When's the wedding?" Marlene asks.
"In a couple months." Shauna replies.
"Well, we have to go." Tobias says. We get up and walk-well he walks, I crutch- to the tattoo parlor.
"Oh Tris, are you alright?" Tori says as I walk in.
"Yeah, just a bad sprain and a mild concussion." I respond.
"See you at lunch babe," I say. I kiss Tobias and he heads out the door. I sit down on a stool and Tori brings my crutches somewhere else.
Just then, a young girl, probably 15, comes in. I give her a tattoo that says 'dauntless at heart'. Cute idea.
"Hey Tori, can you tattoo me?" I ask.
"Sure," She says sitting down."What?"
"Can you write 'be brave' right here?" I ask pointing to a spot on my hip right above my waistline. She gets working. It only takes a few minutes, and then it's done.
"Okay, you know the drill. Cream, bandage, it's small so you only have to keep it on for 12 hours. I'll just take the points out of your paycheck." She says. I admire it. I remember when Tobias said that to me before my first simulation. It really gives me strength. I felt if I always look at it, I can always feel that strength.
For the next few hours, I draw on fake skin. Tobias comes to take me to lunch.
"Ready?" He asks, grabbing my crutches and handing them to me. I nod and we head to the cafeteria. We head to our usual table and Christina, Will, Uriah, Marlene, Zeke, and Shauna are here.
"Hey guys, what's up?" I say approaching the table. I sit down and Tobias puts my crutches on the ground.
"Nothing much, excited for tonight." Uriah says. We all nod. Tobias comes back with a turkey sandwich and a water.
