Divergent;an alternate ending

Chapter 13

I wake up with the sudden urge to throw up. I run to the bathroom in time and Tobias comes in behind me. He pulls my hair back into a messy ponytail and rubs my back.

"You okay?"He asks. I nod, throwing up into the toilet again.

"Too many margaritas," I say smiling. Once I'm done, I brush my teeth and lay down.

"You wanna work today?" He asks.

"Yeah, I feel fine. Maybe just an upset stomach." I say. I get ready for the day and so does Tobias. We go down to breakfast and grab muffins and waters. We don't sit at the table though, my little morning made us a little off track.

We head into the training room and I sit on the table eating my muffin. Tobias set up some of the punching bags as the initiates came in.

"Today you will be fighting. We will have practice today and tomorrow and the day after that will be actual fights." He says. He shows some moves and punches and comes back to sit next to me. We watch them punch and I notice Grace has a little trouble.

"I'll be right back." I say. I head over to Grace.

"You should try to use your knees and elbows since you're a little bit smaller." I say." And keep tension in your stomach." I say.

"Thanks, Six." She says.

"Anytime." I walk back to Tobias and lean on his shoulder.

"What'd you tell her?" He asks.

"Just what you told me," I say smiling. The rest of the day goes by in a breeze. Before I know it. I'm laying down in bed. Tobias comes and lays next to me.

"Feeling better?" He asks.

"Yeah, I think it was just the margaritas." I sy. I cuddle in close and close my eyes.

"Goodnight beautiful," Tobias says as he kisses the top of my head.

"Goodnight Tobias," I say. Then sweet dreams pull me in close.

I wake up again running to the bathroom. I throw up in the toilet again. Tobias comes in and rubs my back.

"You didn't drink anything yesterday did you?" He asks.

"No, and I ate the foods you ate, so..." Then it hit me. "Shit." I mutter.

"What?" He asks.

"Did we use protection?" I ask.

"Of course." He answers."You don't think..." He says.

"It's impossible."

"Not necessarily. It doesn't always work out." He says. I walk over to the phone and call Christina.

"Hey what's up" She answers.

"Hey I need you to do me a huge favor." I say

"Sure anything."

This time I whisper into the phone but Tobias was close enough to hear me."Can you maybe um... get me a test?" I ask her.

"Oh my gosh Tris! Of course. I'll be right over." She hangs up. My eyes start to well up with tears.

"Hey, it's okay. No matter what happens, I'll be here for you Tris." Tobias says pulling me into a hug.

"I was just so stupid. I should have been careful." I say.

"It's not your fault." He says.

"I'm just so young." I say.

"We'll get through this together Tris. I'm here for you no matter what. I will never leave you." He says and kisses my forehead. Christina finally comes to the door and I open it.

"Hey, you okay?" She asks.

"I don't know." I say.

"It will be fine. Do you want me to stay?" She asks. I nod. I go into the bathroom and do what the instructions say to do. I set a timer on my phone and wait. I hear a small knock on the door and I open it to Tobias.

"It's not done yet." I say hugging him.

"Come sit on the couch. Bring your phone so you know." He says. I nod and grab my phone. I lay in the couch with my head in Tobias's lap. The timer dings. I get up nervously and head into the bathroom. I check the test. It has a little positive sign on it.

I smile and nod my head and tears of joy fall onto my face. Tobias picks me up and twirls me around. He smiles widely.

"I love you," He says.

"I love you too." I say and we kiss. I pull away and head out to Christina. I smile and nod. She runs up and hugs me.

"I'm so happy for you two." She says.

"Can you keep it a secret? I kinda wanna tell people myself." I ask.

"Of course! Anything. I guess this means baby shopping?" She says.

"In a couple of months yes." I say and that makes her smile larger. Once she leaves, Tobias picks me up and spins me around again.

"I'm so happy." He says.

"Me too." I say. He carrys me to the couch.

"what did you do about training?" I ask,

"I told them we would be coming in late. That okay?" He asks.

"Yeah. Let me get ready." I say. I take a warm shower and let the water soothe me. I can't believe I'm pregnant. On the one hand I'm shocked, on the other hand I'm ecstatic. I guess it just came by suprise.

Once Tobias and I are ready, we head to the cafeteria. No body from our table is there because they all have jobs. We grab a muffin and head to the training room.

Training goes on as usual. We dismiss everyone for lunch and we head to the cafeteria. We sit down and wait for everyone to be here.

"Guys, Four and I have some news." I say. Everyone looks to us.

"I'm pregnant." I say. Everyone smiles and congratulates Tobias and I. I smile on the outside and on the inside. I get to start a family with the love of my life.

Once we get back to training, nobody seems to be having a problem. We dismiss at 7, though, beucase this morning we delayed. Tobias and I grab dinner and head home.

We sit at the table and eat together. We then watch a comedy movie called The Heat and I have to say, those detectives would be kick ass in Dauntless.

Once the movie ends, I think. What if I'm not a good mom? What if I can't handle it? Tobis snaps me out of my trans.

"Tris?" He says.

"What?" I say.

"You were just staring into space."

Yeah just deep in thought."

"About what?" He asks.

"What if I can't hndle being a mom?" I say. I start to cry. He pulls me in close.

"You'll be an amazing mom, I know it." He says.

"And you'll be an amazing dad." I say. He carrys me over to the bed and we fall asleep in eachothers arms.

FLUFF FLUFF FLUFF! I just love these fluffy chapters.
