LAST CHAPTER! :((((((( Okay so I have been away for a while and I have been thinking this through. I can't keep going on and dragging you through this. This is the last chapter but I will post bonus chapters occasionally. I already have one written up. It is a huge accomplishment to be able to put this fanfiction as completed. You guys have been amazing with the support and I want to thank all of you. Keep on reading and don't let anyone dim your sparkle.
Tris POV
Our third anniversary. Mine and Tobias's. We had the apartment to ourselves with a candlelight dinner and soft music.
One particular song comes on.
"Beatrice?" Tobias asks, holding out his hand. I slip mine into his and he guides me into the living area. Just A Kiss plays in the background as we sway slowly.
Now I've asked myself this a lot. What if Tobias and I chose differently? What if he chose dauntless and I didn't, or he chose abnegation and I didn't, or if we both chose abnegation? Would we be doing the same things in gray instead of black?
The answer is no. There's a certain kind of lifestyle you find here in dauntless. Careless, free, and the ability to be yourself. There is selflessness in bravery, and there sure is bravery in selflessness. In dauntless, everybody basically has your back. Dauntless isn't just a faction, it's a family.
I couldn't imagine a better place for us to be us.
