'Oh ho... Is that right? Is that what you think? So you wish to battle me? Branch Chief Faba? The man who is called Aether Paradise's last line of defense is to battle a mere child?!' Faba crossed his arms and laughed, the same one he used while using tests on me 'S-Stop that...' I began shaking like a leaf, cuddling up to Gladion 'As you will!' The scientist smirked, taking out a Pokeball 'Sun, you think you can take this one? I would but Null's way to afraid of that guy' Gladion asked as he knelt down to comfort me. Sun saw my shaken up state and nodded 'Yeah, I can do that' He took out a pokeball, ready to battle.
(Timeskip to after the battle)
'Aiyee!' Faba screeched as Sun's Gengar took out his Hypno 'He beat him... He actually beat him!' I started jumping up and down in delight 'H-h-how can this be?! How can this child...' Faba's voice trailed off as he put his hand to his chin 'Aue, look at you Sun! And Faba is real strong, too!' Hau praised 'You were amazing, Sun!' I cried in happiness as I nuzzled the boy 'Hehe, thanks you guys' Sun smiled as he rubbed the back of his head 'So... As I said, Faba. You of all people should know what I'm here for.' Gladion growled 'Indeed... The world truly hasn't been kind to you, has it? Look how hard it has made you.' Faba examined the boy and sighed 'If you're looking for Cosmog, I suppose it might be downstairs.' He sighed 'Downstairs?! Oh yeah! Ms. Wickie did say there was another lever farther down, didn't she... What do you do down there?!' Hau tilted his head 'Experiments... tons of them...' I gulped.
'Well... If you must know...' Faba shrugged 'We Don't!' I quickly said, causing everyone to stare 'Uhh, Gladion? Did your Null just talk?' Sun frowned 'You mean you heard it too?!' Hau tilted his head 'I definitely heard it...' Gladion raised and eyebrow. I looked at each boy in surprise, then at Faba who was smirking 'So... It's that Null huh...?' He murmured 'We're in a bit of a hurry, Faba. A lift would be nice.' I growled slightly, ignoring the surprised stares from my three friends 'Why not? This is an act of kindness I can do for you thanks to my position as branch chief.' Faba smiled and started pressing buttons on the keypad. He stepped off the elevator and the railings went up. The elevator started to go down, allowing me to catch a glimpse of Faba smirking 'I don't trust him...' I growled 'Guys... Null's still talking!' Hau pointed at me in shock 'Yeah I can see that Hau... When the hell did you learn to talk?!' Gladion frowned 'Since now? I haven't been able to speak since... Nevermind' I shook my head, facing away from the boys.
