A Pokemon Sun and Moon inspired story about a girl who was trapped in a Type:Null's body from a horrid experiment, and became president Lusamine's labrat. Until a boy named Gladion came to her rescue. They became partners and developed a strong rela...
'Ughh, where is he? We've been waiting forever!' I moaned as I leaned against the railing, placing my hands in my pockets. 'He said he had something to talk about with Hau, shouldn't be too much longer though.' Lillie shrugged. 'Hey, guys!' Sun yelled as he ran towards us 'Told ya' Lillie giggled as she tightened her ponytail 'Yea Yea, whatever...' I sighed while flicking my fringe out of my eyes. 'Sorry I took so long... Hau just had something he really wanted to tell me privately' Sun laughed awkwardly, rubbing the back of his head. 'Meh, no worries. All you did was bore me to death' I smirked sarcastically, before earning a smack on the head from my partner 'That's it, I don't wanna hear a word from you for the whole journey. Got it?' Gladion growled while holding my chin 'Yes master...' I gestured with a pout, before swatting his hand away and sulking. 'That's better. Anyway, ready to go Sun?' he asked the ravenette 'Yup, ready as I'll ever be.' Sun responded with a nod.
'Alright then, let's move.' Gladion smirked before jumping onto the boat, catching me as I did the same. 'You're really light, you know that right?' he snickered as he helped me steady myself, I just growled in return. 'Let's go Sun! No holding back!' Lillie giggled 'Yep, let's do it!' Sun grinned as the two jumped on board.
'Megan you haven't said anything since we left, are you alright?' Lillie asked me, I turned to her before pointing at Gladion, and making a zip motion over my lips 'You're actually doing what he says? I mean, I thought you said you're not a Pokemon anymore...' Sun raised an eyebrow 'Oh, yeah you're right. I guess I just got used to taking orders from him...' I smiled awkwardly and rubbed the back of my head.
'What did I say about talking?' Gladion scowled as he left the boat driver's side. 'I stayed quiet for half an hour, that's good enough...' I yelled back, crossing my arms and sticking my tongue out. 'Fine... we're almost there anyway' Gladion sighed as he looked out at the horizon.
As soon as we docked I could tell the island was bursting with nature, which caused me to naturally smile. 'Poni Island... almost no one lives on it, but you'll find a whole lot of nature to explore here.' Gladion explained 'It sure is pretty...' I murmured, before he and I turned to the others 'Go. Find the kahuna.' Gladion ordered.
'Why the kahuna?' Sun questioned and tilted his head. 'The kahuna of Poni Island also protects the shrine where Alola's people worship the Legendary Pokemon.' I explained with a serious tone. 'Yeah, maybe they know something that might help you.' Gladion added.
'Guys... thank you for this.' Lillie smiled, but quickly frowned after 'But... Gladion, when you took Null and left Aether Paradise two years ago... you left me alone with Mother! She was so bad after you left! If I didn't have Wickie with me...' her voice trailed off and she went pale.
'I'm sorry... I wasn't there for you when you needed me. All I could think about back then was finding a way to save Null... that was a battle I was fighting. But now you've found your own battle to fight, I know you can handle it.' Gladion smiled slightly and patted the girl on the head.
'I feel it's partly my fault, too... if I hadn't left with your brother... then you wouldn't have been alone for two years... I'm sorry for that...' I bit my lip, and a shadow went over my eyes. Letting out a deep sigh I made my way back to the boat, with Gladion following behind me.
