(Wait Don't play the song yet)

'Ugh, seriously this boat ride is taking much longer than when we took the speedboat...' I complained, before realising that the point of a speedboat is to be faster than a regular vessel. 'Oh wait...'

I hear Gladion snort from beside me, and see him cover his mouth from the corner of my eye. I huff. 'Oh yes, laugh at my stupidity! It is all hilarious.' I say in a strong irritated british accent, which only seemed to make him laugh more.

'Stahp!' I whine, holding onto the letter 'a'.

'You do realise you're making it worse by- by changing your voice... right?!' The boy managed to choke out, before clutching his stomach and hunching over. Dang... I don't even remember the last time he laughed this long. Finally, once he regained his composure he stood up straight and looked at me. 'Tell ya what. If you're bored, why don't we listen to music?'

He took out a black Ipod from his bag, along with a pair of red earphones (Colour scheming lol). Plugging them in he handed me one of the ear pieces, which I gladly took.

'Sure,' I smiled, placing it in my ear 'why not.'

Gladion began scrolling through the songs on the device, until I spot one in particular I really liked. 'Play that one!' I tell him excitedly, while pointing at the title 'Kids in the Dark - All Time Low' (Love that song, it's awesome ^^)

'Okay then, coming right up!'

Gladion pressed his thumb on the music, and soon it began playing:

(K You can play the song now)

The kids in the dark,

the kids in the dark...

The kids in the dark,

The kids in the dark

And before we knew it, the two of us were singing verses. In perfect sync may I add?

Normal - Gladion

Italic - Megan

Bold - Both

Here we are,

at the end of the road -- a road that's quietly caving in,

Come too far to pretend that we don't -- we don't miss where we started,

Looking back, I see a setting sun, and watch my shadow fade into the floor,

I am left standing on the edge

wondering how we got this far, how we got this far...

They left us alone,

the Kids In The Dark,

to burn out forever,

or light up a spark,

We come together,

state of the art,

We'll never surrender,

the kids in the dark,

So let the world sing,

"What a shame, (Hey)

what a shame, (Hey)

beautiful scars,

on critical veins,"

Come together,

state of the art,

We'll never surrender,
