Chapter: 11

~ Sans' P.O.V ~

"Sans!" The kid calls jumping on me

"what's up kiddo?" I ask.

"Pup?" I take a deep breath and set the kid on the couch.

"look, i don't think pup is comin back this time around. it's been a few days already." I try and explain.

"Pup?" The kid's voice seemed to be a lot more melancholy.

"pup ain't comin back. we jus hafta have fun for her, okay kiddo." I say petting the kids head. "come on, let me put ya to bed."

"Sans?" Papyrus calls to me.

"what is it pap? I ask yelling down the steps.

"There is a dog in the kitchen sitting on the window seal." He says and I run back down.

"paps, i don't think that's a dog. that's too big to be a house pet." I say staring at the all black animal.

"Pup!" The kid yells and then it suddenly dawns on me.

"paps, watch the kid, i'll be back in a bit!" I say running out the door. I ran to the wall where she climbed up to get out. There, I find another giant canine. This one was all white. It looked up at me and then looked toward the construction site. I dash down that way and arrive at the construction not long after, there I see another one with white cloud like patterns on it's grey fur. I looked towards the bay that I found her at when she vanished. "pup, is this you? are you doin this?" I ask as I make my way to the bay where I find another on of the canines, this one was silver. "where is she?" I ask and he looks toward the street. He prances past me and waits there as though he wants me to follow him. I followed him and he lead me to the alley where I met the one from the kitchen not too long ago, the all black canine stood there before slowly approaching me with something in his mouth. Then he drops a note right in front of me and I picked it up.

'My favorite place to go.'

"the dock!" I run there as fast as I can. I'm already out of breath, I hope she remembers I'm not as active as she is, I'm running on fumes pup. I make it there just in time, of course she planned this. She was sitting there with her feet dangling and two giant Canines next to her.

"You finally made it. I was starting to think you'd stand me up for leaving." She says, but she has no idea how much I missed her.

"pup....... you........ came........ back." I barely get the words out of my mouth.

"Of course I came back. I made a promise." She replies. She gets up and walks toward me. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I swear if that wasn't the best kiss I've had since she left....... well, no need to explain.

"ray." I say.

"Calling me by my name now?" She giggles and I blush. "It doesn't matter what you call me, I'll answer to anything you call me and remember, this wolf is always loyal to her only alpha." My face flushes blue and she laughs a little more.

"well little pup, how about we head home?" I say picking her up.

"You sure you don't want me to carry you, after all, I did make you run." She says and I just chuckle.

"no problem. hey dawgs, come on." I say and they approach me and wait for something. With a snap of my fingers, we're in front of the house. I walk in the door. "i captured a pup, ki--ddo." I look around and see them everywhere.

"I forgot to mention, I'm the alpha of the pack now." She says.

"Pup!" I hear the kid call running up to me. I see one of the canines grab the kid and takes them upstairs.

"what's the dog doin?" I ask a little concerned.

"Don't worry, it's time for the kid's bath." She says. "The one carrying the kid up the steps is Knight. You'll learn their names, I've gotten all of them a collar." She adds.

"well, that's good. where are my slippers?" I ask aloud and one them brings them over. "Thanks uh......"

"Dream. That's Dream." She says.

"thanks dream." I say with an awkward smile and he just walks away.

"He'll ease up, don't worry." She says.

"pup, can ya come with me real quick?" I ask her as I head up the steps and she follows.

"What's wrong?" She asks and I lead her into my room and close the door.

"it's about the kid. they uhh...." I hesitate to tell her.

"Sans, what's wrong with them? Tell me." She demands.

"well, the kid seems to become violent at some point. they've already tried me and Paps, but i was able to suppress it once and so was paps, but i'm not sure when they'll do it again. i don't want to put ya in that kinda danger." I explain.

"Sans, I'll be fine. Don't forget, I'm a human too. Do you know why they're acting like this?" She asks me.

"so, apparently it has to do with the experiments they had been doin on the kids they gathered up. they sent one of them here and they had planned on sendin it back and tryin to find a way to get your DNA as well to see what they could do with it, but i wouldn't tell them where ya went." I explain.

"Sans, do you know who is doing these experiments?" She questions and I get really quiet. "Sans, who is it?"

"ray, please. it's fine, i can deal with this." But those aren't the words she wanted to hear.

"Sans, Tell. Me. Now." She says I can hear the anger in her voice. It was worse than when Asgore tried to go after Toriel again. She wasn't having it and neither is Ray.

"a'ight. it's a scientist who use to work with this guy named gaster. he was one of gaster's pupil's before me, but he kinda lost his shit and wanted to do more dangerous experiments. so when he found out aboutcha, he was doin everything in his power to get to ya." I finally spill and suddenly I hear something familiar. The language he spoke; Ray started speaking it and her body began to react weird. "pup? are ya okay?"
