Chapter: 53

"What about them? What did they do? Is something wrong?" I ask still on the phone.

'I don't know, but Brandy and a few other monsters said their behavior was a little different than before. They said it wasn't normal. You should come and check them out.'

"I'll get there as soon as I can." I say hanging up the phone and a making another call.

"Dad, hello."

'Alpha, is something wrong? You sound panicked.'

"Dad, get to the house now. I think she's doing something to them, I need time to get there."

'Alright, I'm leaving right.'

I hang up the phone again and Sans and LB walk over to me.

"What's going on Alpha?" LB asks me.

"I think it's begun, it's finally got full control of her. I need to get back now, we have time thanks to dad." I reply.

"i could have gotten us all there no problem." Sans says.

"I need you all to stay here. Remember, Marco is here and he is a sneaky bastard. I don't want anyone in here to get hurt." I reply running toward the door. "I'm going to end this now."

~ Frisk's P.O.V ~

"I have a question for you." Someone says walking up to me.

"Please don't ask me about my gender." I reply and his face kind of drifts. "Figures, everyone wants to know, it's honestly not important."

"Jake don't be rude." David says walking up to me with John right behind him. "You probably know us and we probably aren't on good terms as of right now, but I want to change that by helping you and Mr. Skeleton out."

"Sans, his name is Sans and you can call me LB. Alpha didn't tear you to shreds, but that doesn't mean I won't." I growl. "Lucky for you, she didn't give the command to otherwise you'd be dead where you stand."

"hey lb, that's my line." Sans says and I start giggling.

"Look, we're sorry. What can we do to help? We really want to make it up to her, please." They beg.

"There's nothing to do, we are supposed to be watching you guys and an unconscious Marco. Go do something random." I say and they back off. I walk over and pour Sans and me some punch before taking a seat next to him. "You think she'll be able to mentally handle this?"

"i dunno. it's not everyday ya hafta fight and kill ya parent, ya mother to be specific." He replies.

"That's true. I hope she can deal with this." I say. My phone starts ringing and I answer it hoping it's Alpha.

'Frisk, it's me Jackie.'

"What's up?"

'I couldn't get theough to Alpha so I called you instead. I just made it back in town and went to my hotel. Apparently, someone was looking for me according to the clerk at the front desk. She said they were with the company Alate Gamma and that they wanted to talk to me.'

"Did you check out of the hotel already?

'Yeah, I'm thinking of a place to go, but I don't want to lead them to the main house.'

"Alright. I'm sure you can get a map of the sewers. Take those and head backwards on downtown. Take south main to the north segment and shift 3 units to the east before rising and turning the corner."

'Alright, I'll see you guys soon.'

I hang up the phone and notice Sans looking at me completely baffled.

"i know the kid is smart, but did he really understand that?" He asks.

"Yeah. It's the use of misdirection. Jackie and I had time to come up with a way to give directions over the phone without giving the actual location. We switch East and North and South and West as well as left and right. For a heads up, we use backwards to let each other know when the directions are switched." I explain.

"a'ight, i think i get it. so how long before he gets here?" He asks.

"I don't know. Let's just hope he makes it here safe and let's hope Alpha's fight ends really soon." I say shaking my head.

"Hey LB, Mr. Sans, I found something interesting." John says running over with his computer in hand. "I know you said we can't do anything and to do something interesting instead and so I was able to dig up some information on Ray's original parents." He says and both Sans and I look at him.

"How did you come across this information." I ask.

"I'm able to get access to the files on the governments computer and I was able to use the information I already know about Ray and what she told me recently to narrow it down. What was interesting was that her parents file are classified, but thanks to my dad's position, I'm able to gain access to them." He says logging into the system. "It says here that Ray.......... Ray isn't Ray, her name is Esmerelda Guordan. Her parents worked on experimentation for the government and they were paid millions, making them one of the richest families in their area. That's it, there's nothing else about it." He says looking deeper.

"Are you sure?" I ask. "There's gotta be something else."

"I'm looking, I'm looking." He says as his fingers violently on the computer. "I got it. This file is from an experimentation file and it has a video attached to it. The experiment was to test the fusion of DNA of two different species. The experiment failed and then shut down immediately." He says before clicking the video.

'On the footage, there is feed of a lab with two CT machines , a few computers, and a bunch of chemicals on the table. There is a male and a female walking around the lab, back and forth from the computer to the CT machine. The male seems to be carrying some sort of animal over to the first CT machines and turned it on. Wires began to descend from the machines and attach to the creature. The female turns on the other CT machine and walks out of view of the camera and the male follows behind. For a while, nothing happens and then a little person walks inside of the lab. They walk around touching stuff, the chemicals on the table and pounding the keys on the computer before walking over to the first CT machine and touching the animal.

'Doggie.' The little girls voice is caught on the microphone of the camera. She walks over to the other CT machine and climbs onto the table, having a bit of trouble at first, but manages and the wires attach onto her and the machines begin to go to work. The tubes are barely visible, but it is noticed that fluids are moving through the tubes. The male and female suddenly burst into the room and the machine begins to shut down allowing the wires to detach from the little girl. The female picks her up and holds her tightly though she seems unharmed and the male seems relieved as well. The animal in the first CT machine awakes and gets down from the table and makes it's way toward the three of them. They back away slowly, but the animal doesn't seem to attack, but instead seems to react to the little girls actions. All of their heads turn simultaneously toward the door and the wolf immediately jumps on the table, a flash bang goes off, shots are fired, and the tape cuts off.'
