In the morning, I awake to loud crashing and some yelling.

"Sans! Will you please pick up your stuff!" Papyrus yells. I get out of bed and walk over to their room. I knock on the door and await an answer. The door swings open and I wobble a little.

"Could you keep it down please?" I ask rubbing my eyes.

"Sorry boss. I'll try to keep quiet." He says.

"If it bothers you that much, we can switch rooms. LB is pretty tidy." I say and his face lights.

"Really?! Thanks so much boss." He says running into the room to gather his stuff. I walk over to bed and fall right on the floor.

"pup." I force my eyes open to see Sans leaning over the edge of the bed. "ya okay?"

"Just thought I'd give the floor a hug." I reply.

"Boss!" I hear someone yell and I instantly shoot up head butting Sans in the process. I stand up, rub my head, and stretch before she bursts in the room.

"Yes Aurora? What is it?" I ask still looking half asleep.

"It's Kacey. He told the others and word got to both the bosses and now they're after me. What am I going to do?" She asks.

"Nothing." I reply and she looks at me weird. "Look, if they want you, they have to get through us, which isn't likely."

"You know, for a boss, you sure do do a lot of labor." She says.

"What's the point in being left out of the action?" I say yawning. "Can you make breakfast?"

"Sure! Sorry about busting in here unannounced, I was just a little afraid." She says and I nod.

"I'll be down soon." I say and she leaves out. "Geez Sans, you do leave your stuff everywhere." I add picking his clothes up off of the floor and putting them in the basket.

"i'll get it." He says trying to get out of bed.

"Right." I reply sarcastically. "Because we know you will actually clean up after yourself." I take the basket downstairs and place it by the basement door. The smell of pancakes, eggs, and sausage fill the air.

"It's almost done." Aurora says smiling at me. Then it occurs to me, why is she here? How did she know where to find Sans? There were so many unanswered questions that I wanted to second guess my decision. "Boss?"

"Huh? Oh, sorry I spaced. Can't wait to eat it." I say laughing nervously.

"You're second guessing yourself, aren't you?" She says sadly. "I know that look and that laugh. It shows you still don't trust me, but I understand since I've jumping here and there, mafia to mafia, who could trust someone like me."

"Well of course I'll always second guess myself, but I don't change my mind. Even if you were to attempt to kill me now. I wouldn't regret taking you in because I know you're having a hard time trusting us too. I can't blame you, we're outcasts to the entire city here because we're monsters, but that also means we can't trust every human that seems nice." I explain and she gives me a soft smile. A wolf walks in the house carrying some mail. I look through it and see an invitation from a name that seems familiar. I open it and read contents of it.

'Come say hi to your old high school friends before the building is demolished. We can't wait to see you there.

P.S. Don't forget to bring some friends.'

"What is it?" Aurora asks.

"An invitation to a high school reunion for the last time, before they demolish the building." I say softly. "Hey Papyrus!"

"Yes!" He yells back peeking his head out the door.

"Could you and a few other pick up the cars from the docks today?" I ask.

"Of course! I'll get right on it!" He yells moving quickly down the steps and out the door.

"Sans! LB! We got a party to go to tomorrow night." I say as they make their way out of their rooms

"What party?" LB asks.

"My high school reunion. It's really nothing special, just going to say hi and bye to a few people." I chuckle nervously.

"oh really?" Sans says looking at me suspiciously. "correct me if i'm wrong, but ya don't like humans, which leads me to believe somethin else. spill it."

"Fine." I reply rolling my eyes. "High school was a rough period for me. People would bully me because of the way I was and I just decided that I would handle it now while I have the chance." I explain.

"Well that's good." LB says. "At least you're getting it off your chest."

"I guess. I need something to cover up me ears." I say feeling them with my hands. "And I need to cover my tail and cut these nails down."

"woah......... what?" Sans questions. "what are ya talkin bout coverin up ya ears and stuff?"

"Well, I don't want to draw too much attention." I say giggling and the front door swings open.

"I'm home." Michael says looking around the room.

"Where have you been?" I ask.

"You know busy doing stuff." He says and I ignore his vague response.

"Anyways, we got an invite to the old high school. They're going to be tearing it down soon and they want us all to come up there. I decided to go since it's tomorrow night." I say.

"What?! You're kidding right? You are really going to go up there with those savages, the ones who tormented you all four years of high school. The stuff they did to you and made you do because you were different, does that not go through your mind at all?! Because I sure as hell remember what they did! Why? Why do you want to go back to that hell hole? Why, Ray?" He questions me.

"Michael, I remember the swirlies and the locker spaces, I remember the pranks and the hitting. I know, the actual bruises and scars went away, but not mentally. I need to be able to face this myself. I need to be able to confront anyone at this point in time and not be afraid because of some childish memories. I need to do this for me." I explain.

"Fine, but if you really want to get over this. I can't help you in any situation. Remember, you are the boss now, you take care of an entire race. You've taken down mafias, you can overcome this." He says comforting me.
