Chapter: 69

Night fell and the Casino was dead silent except for the sounds of the machines and music playing. I got clear instructions to guide them and sit them down so that we could get an exact number. Tony was sent to keep watch outside and tell us when they arrived. I got bored and started playing on one of the slot machines until Tony ran back.

"They're here." He says. "I'm gonna go tell Bonnie, you get them where they need to be." He says running to back. They begin to file in one behind another and I instruct them to follow me.

"Hello." I say looking at all of them and instructing them where to sit. "Let's all have a good time."

"heya pup." Sans says walking in with Gaster, LB, Michael, and Papyrus.

"Hey Sans. So, there are cameras everywhere. All of the little black glasses on the ceiling are cameras, take them out when you can." I say as I direct them to their seats. Once everyone is inside and settled, Tony and Bonnie both come out and introduce themselves.

"Welcome monsters, to my Casino. I am Bonnie and I am so thrilled that you have chosen this one. My friend, Tony and I do hope you enjoy yourselves to fullest." He says looking out over the crowd of monsters. I look up at him as well and Tony gives me the signal to come back. I make my way through and to the both of them.

"Did you find their boss?" Tony asks me.

"I didn't get a description. I do know that they're is very cautious so they won't make themselves obvious." I reply looking at the both of them.

"She's right. We have to draw them out somehow, Tony." Bonnie says looking at him and then at me.

"I mean if we're killing all of them, then no need right?" I say looking at them.

"That is very true. We don't need to see the boss because if we take down the main family then the boss has no one left to protect them." Tony says and Bonnie nods.

"Alright. We put the plan into motion in about 30 minutes so keep cool until then." Bonnie says before walking away. I run over to the Blackjack table and sit next to Sans and Tony follows me over.

"hey, long time no see. wanna go a round or two?" Sans asks me.

"Yeah." I reply sitting and Tony sits down beside me. The dealer deals the cards and I side glance at Sans with a smirk. "I don't think you're ready for this."

"really? i was thinkin the same thing about you." He replies chuckling. "let's see if ya got more bark than bite." We both flip our hand at the same time.

"Blackjack." We say in unison.

"I thought you said you weren't good at this game." Tony says a little confused.

"You don't have be good at the game to have luck. I've only played twice, maybe three times." I reply looking at him.

"True." He says nodding his head. "So, Sans was it, could I meet your boss. I'm honestly a bit curious."

"you'll meet'em soon enough. they like to surprise people sometimes." He replies. We play a few more rounds until the thirty minutes was up and Tony signaled me that it was time to go.

"Let's grab some refreshments for these guys." He says getting up and I follow behind him. The machines shut down and the Casino goes on lock down. Men began to file in from downstairs and the monsters look a bit startled and then shots are suddenly fired. Tony tosses me a gun and I begin firing with the group of guys that came out. As the crossfire gets worse, I use the opportunity to get away and change out of my close into my family colors, Royale Blue. I make it into the crowd of monsters who is still firing at the other guys. I sit in a seat and Sans sits next to me.

"they're lookin this way." He says.

"Tell the monsters to hold their fire." I reply. Sans throws his hand in the air and the firing ceases on our side. It takes a minute for the other side call their fire power off.

"Why'd you stop?" Tony asks still ducked off.

"no reason in particular, ya said ya wanted to see the boss." Sans says. "the boss is right here."

"Finally." Bonnie says. "Tony, tell the girl to go down there." Tony looks around for me, but can't quite seem figure where I am.

"What did you do with her? Give her back now or else." He replies in a threatening tone.

"we ain't do nothin to her." Sans chuckles.

"Where is she then? She didn't run away, she said she would fight." He says trying to back her up. All of the monsters begin snickering. "What's so funny?"

"That was a valuable asset to this family. We're going to make sure to kill all of you creatures." Bonnie says.

"if ya really wanna know where she is, why dontcha ask our boss. i'm sure they have an answer." Sans says.

"Where is she? Where is Esmerelda?" Tony asks looking us.

"I'm right here." I say looking up. "Did you really think I would help you and him obliterate an entire race?"

"You traitor. They let you become boss and you just take it. No questions asked?" Tony asks. He seemed a bit heart broken.

"Traitor? I've been with these monsters for years. We came up here together. You really are an idiot." I say laughing.

"But Esmerelda, I thought you were someone that I could trust." Tony says.

"Let's get something straight. My name is not Esmerelda, it's Alpha and I am someone you can trust, when you're not trying to kill my family. To be fair though, I did save your life once. When we were in the forest and you kissed me on the cheek. I wasn't the only one pissed by that action." I say pointing to Sans.

"i was so close to endin his life. a second later and ya woulda been burned worse than overnight toast." Sans says with a grin on his face.

"It doesn't matter now, all of you will die anyway. Did you think we'd tell you about the back up plan." Bonnie says laughing. "The bombs."
