Chapter: 27

~ Alpha's P.O.V ~

As everything started back up, they skipped the whole speech part and went straight into the question.

"Before we make this commitment, I want to clear your mind of anything that might get in our way." He says snapping his fingers and a gun is put to the back of Sans' head.

"LEAVE HIM ALONE!" I scream. "HE CAN'T STOP THIS NO WAY! JUST LEAVE HIM OUT OF IT!"

"Someone's still a little attached. That's the exact reason I have to do this." He says. Then I felt my body pulse and the pain began to become tense. I let out a loud scream and began to squirm in the chains. I hear the snap of his finger and a trigger click.

"I said STOP!" I yell and I hear the sound of glass hitting the floor and it gets dark. I break the chains and drop down to the ground. In no time at all I was already smashing heads against the wall, starting with the guy who had Sans pinned. The only thing heard in the darkness were screams, it all ended in a matter of minutes. The side lights kicked on and lit the room enough, but no much and all the monsters got up and walked towards me.

"Alpha?" I hear Gaster say. I look down a little disappointed.

"pup, ya have ears.......... and a tail." Sans says touching my head.

"Yeah." I chuckle nervously. "Honestly, I don't like this form in the slightest. I look like a freak."

"A freak?" I hear a voice in the back. "You look awesome!" Then monster kid bombards me. I look and see warm smiles all around me.

"Ray?" I hear my mother's voice and I cringe. I feel her hand touch my shoulder and I turn to look at her.

"Hi mom." I smile awkwardly.

"Wow, I should have listened when you said you were a wolf. I just thought it was a phase and you'd get over this whole wolf thing. I'm sorry sweety." She says rubbing the top of my head and my tail starts wagging.

"Let's head home everyone." I say and everyone begins toward the exit. My mother tugs my arm and waits until the room is clear.

"Ray, I don't have much time. I just wanted make sure I told this. I was a little hesitant about the monsters living on our property, but I see that they are basically family. They protect you and you protect them. I can leave knowing you'll be okay." She says.

"Mom, I love you. I wish you could be when I get married." I say.

"why don't we put on a little for mom then." Sans says walking back in. "ya don't still have on a weddin dress."

"That would be wonderful." She replies and begin blushing.

"But....."

"alpha, i'm not worried about this form of yours, you're still you." Sans says and I nod my head. I make my way to the entrance and Sans awaits at the end. I start down the aisle and suddenly an arm locks with mine.

"Can't leave dad out of this one." He says smiling. He walks me down the aisle up to Sans. I look at my mom and then Sans.

"i can't wait." He says gently touching my face. I move my face in closer to his and we kiss.

"Neither can I." I reply giggling.

"You chose a monster over me? A human?" This boss guy says sitting in the corner.

"You have a problem with us monsters?" I ask looking around. "Speak now or forever hold your peace." I add and we all head toward the door.

"You know, I'm glad you fell down that mountain. It was the best thing to ever happen to you Ray." My mother says walking between Gaster and me.

"She was quite the surprise. Honestly, we wouldn't be here if it weren't for her." Gaster says.

"Since the whole family is here, we're gonna need a name." I say and they look at me. "I like MCC."

"MCC?" Gaster questions. "I know the M is for monster, but what about the Cs?"

"Corpse Collection. Monster Corpse Collection. MCC or MC Co. for short." I say.

"i like it." Sans says shrugging his shoulders.

"It does suit you guys." My mom adds.

"Yeah, we'll have see what everyone else is thinking though." Gaster says. "Ma'am, if you don't mind taking my hand, we're actually going to take a shortcut home." He says to my mom and she looks at me.

"Don't worry, you'll be fine." I say. "Sans and I are taking a similar one." I add and she takes Gaster's hand.

"We'll see you in a few then." He says disappearing right before our eyes.

"ya ready cupcake?" Sans asks me.

"Always." I say grinning, my sharp teeth showing. He crosses the thresh hold and we appear right in front of the door. We enter the house where mom is sitting on the couch and Gaster is in the kitchen.

"Hey dad, watcha cookin?" I ask yelling in the kitchen.

"I have no idea. You should probably do the cooking. Your mother is still recovering from our little trip." He says and I walk up next to him.

"Could you run a few tests on her for me please and see if you can do something about this illness of hers." I whisper to him and nods quietly.

"I will get Alphys and Toriel to assist me." He says vanishing.

"Ray, could you bring me some water please?" She asks. I pour her a glass of water and walk over to her.

"Here you go ma." I say handing her the glass. "You know things are only gonna get a lot more dangerous from here on out."

"I know, but I'm not worried. You have Sans, Gaster, Papyrus and Frisk." She says. "I know they, and everyone else for that matter will always be by you."

"The others should be here by now." I say looking toward the door. Michael and LB walk inside just as I finish my sentence. "Did everyone make it back okay?"

"Yeah, they're fine." He says. "Oh and some girl told me to give this to Sans." He adds giving the note to Sans. He looks up at Michael and the calls me over.

"you read it, i could care less." He says and I take the note.

"Big baby." I say. "It says I don't know how you did it, but the fall of Inc definitely spread quickly. The marks left behind were by a creature of great strength and the ex boss, Mason refuses to speak of it. He paid me in cash to keep my mouth shut and I'm no longer being watched.

P.S. I was totally checking out that girl in the wedding dress, do you know her?' That's it." I say.
