"I'm not a puppy, I'm a hybrid." I say wiggling my ears and tail. "It would be nice if you gave Jackie a vacation from work for a while."
"And what makes you think I'll listen to you." He says.
"My dad isn't the nicest when someone is being rude and neither is my boyfriend." I say smirking. "But, I can totally decorate these walls with your insides if you want me to." I say glaring at him, my teeth showing and the canines circling the store. "I hope you can make the right decision."
"You know what, Jackie. You deserve a vacation, how about a month, I can find someone to cover your shift for the time being." He says nervously and I back away.
"You're so sweet, thank you." I say smiling. "Come on Jackie." I grab the waters and drag him out of the store. I give the wolves water and drink a bottle of my own.
"You know, this is still unbelievable." He says.
"I'm surprised you didn't say anything about my ears and tail." I say a little shocked.
"It doesn't bother me. Yeah, it's definitely shocking, but not bothersome." He says looking up at the sky. I hear a few conversations going on and someone approaches us.
"Did you guys hear about the downfall of Fontaine and Incorporeal? Some guys did a number on them." This guy says.
"Yeah, I heard about that. Apparently some group call the MCC did it." I say. "I think it stands for Monster Corpse Collection or something."
"No way! Where'd you hear that?" He asks.
"I overheard a conversation between some people in cloaks as they were leaving. Apparently, they killed the boss of Fontaine too." I add.
"That was the body that was found in the building. It had claw marks on it." He says.
"Wow, someone just couldn't keep their paws off huh." I say.
"Thanks for the info dudette." He says before leaving.
"You killed the leader of Fontaine?!" Jackie whisper shouts. "How is that even possible?"
"It wasn't hard." I say walking into the store. I hand him a list. "I need the stuff on this list, I'll start on this side." I say walking away. I grab a cart and pace up and the aisle picking out things we need. The people around me avoid making contact because of the wolves and finally, an employee approaches me.
"Excuse me miss, you can't have wolves in the store." He says.
"Sorry, but I won't be in here much longer. They get a little antsy when around people they don't know. You wouldn't want people with missing body parts, would you?" I ask glaring into his eyes.
"Uh........n-no. Of course not." He stutters.
"I'm glad you understand." I say walking away. He stands there frozen in fear and I chuckle under my breath. After about twenty or thirty minutes, I meet back up with Jackie whose cart is just as full as mine. We head to the check out and the cashier look at us like we're crazy.
"Separate?" She asks.
"No, together." I say and her head jerks back a little. "Oooookay." And she begins ringing up the items. She finishes after another 30 minutes. "Would you like me to bag this?"
"Nah, I'll have this gone in a few minutes." I say pulling out my phone and making a phone call.
"Sans, I just finished shopping, I have a mountain of groceries."
'Alright, I'll be there in a second. I just got the shipment here. I have 4 monsters moving the boxes in the shed.'
"Okay."
I hang up the phone and look at the cashier and then Jackie. Then I point to the back of the store and everyone near me looks in that direction.
"What is it?" Jackie asks.
"Nothing. Let's go." I say.
"But th--" He looks into two empty carts. "Where'd they go?!" He asks and the cashier looks baffled as well.
"Magic." I say wiggling my fingers. "Come on." I grab his hand and drag him out of the store and the pups follow behind me.
"Slow down!" He yells and I come to a stop. I let out sigh before picking him up bridal style and dashing off toward the house. "Whoa! What?!"
"Calm down, it's the fastest way to the house until we get the cars. I run until I hit the entrance of the woods and we walk from there. The woods are quiet, even going past the complex, not a peep.
"It's really quiet, maybe everyone is training." I say looking around.
'Maybe they're at the house.'
"Maybe, but I don't hear anything in that direction. They might be training." I say.
"Who are you talking to?" Jackie asks.
"Oh, the dogs. I do speak wolf." I reply as we soon approach the house.
"You can?" He asks in disbelief. "There's no way that's possible."
"Well it is." I say motioning him inside. "Welcome to the main house."
"This is cool. I know some people thought you lived in a doghouse." He says.
"Well I don't." I reply. "Now, I'm personally going to be training you."
"Training?" He looks at me funny.
"Yeah. It'll be on a level in which you can learn, but none the less difficult. Are you okay with that?" I ask.
"Yeah. I guess." He says.
"Cool. We'll start with close combat. You will a total of 100 push ups a day, run one mile, and shadow box for now." I say.
"There's no way I can do that." He says shaking his head.
"You can and you will. Start with 10 push ups now and then fit the other 90 in some where." I say. "I have eyes everywhere, so don't try and skip out or run."
"You couldn't do a single push up in high school, how about you do one." He says and I let out a sigh.
"It's not that I couldn't do push-ups, I wouldn't do them. Watch." I say doing a handstand and doing push ups that way.
"But how?" He questions baffled.
"This wolf is no slacky, not when it comes to survival." I reply standing back up and walking into the kitchen. "I need to cook for the family."
