Chapter: 44

She slowly makes her way to the bed and lies down next to me. I held her tightly, I wouldn't let her go, not again, not ever.

"Sans please." She says.

"i'm not lettin ya  go, not again. never again will i let my pup go." I say tightening my grip.

"Alright Sans, I promise I won't leave again. I'll never leave you or the others behind ever again so will you please just let me breathe." She says and I loosen my grip, but refuse to let her go.

"but ya been gone for days." I reply. "i don't wanna let ya go."

"Sans, I've only been gone for a few hours." She says sighing.

"but it feels li--" A knock on the door cuts my sentence short. We both look at the door and she looks at me.

"It's a female." She says. "What do you think she wants?"

"i dunno. i didn't think anyone would know i was here." I reply sitting up. "maybe you should get it, i don't wanna deal with it."

"Alright, go somewhere else." She says and I walk over to the closet. It's not the roomiest place, but it's something. I hear her open the door.

"Hi. Did you need something?"

'You're that girl from the one building, Incorporeal. I was hoping to find the skeleton here. Do you know where he is?'

"I could find him, but what do you need him for."

'I was being harassed by this guy and his friends and it turns out they're with a gang, the company is called FK Crating Fixes. It's a shipping company.'

"That's not just a shipping company. It's........ugh, I can't unscramble it........... it's like Alate Gamma. If you rearrange the letters in that, you get Amalgamate which means to combine. They're doing experiments on people, monsters, and animals."

'Wow, you're smart and pretty. Did you get my letter?'

"That was you who sent that? I had no idea who you were. The family and I were confused."

'I know and so it turns out the skeleton did know you which makes me happy. You know, I have a thing for girls if you want to try something new.'

This chick is out there flirting with Alpha. I want to go out there right now and kill her. I'll end it all in the blink of an eye.

"You know that sounds very fascinating, I would't mind trying new things, but I'm going to have to reject that offer. Sorry."

'I understand, trust me I do. But back to matter at hand. Can you and the skeleton guy help me? At this point, I have no where to go. They hacked my bank account, they somehow got to my apartment so I can't go back there, and they have people looking for me. Do you know a mafia that can help me?'

"We can help you because we are a mafia, but I'm not sure we can trust you. You've been jumping through mafia gangs like it's nothing."

'Please. I have no where else to go, you and that skeleton are my last resort. I'll do anything, just please talk to your boss and make him understand my position.'

"What do you think, Sans?" She asks me and I walk out of the closet and into the room. She looks at me in state of confusion.

"well, she did help us. we got into Incorporeal and took'em down from the inside. we weren't ratted out, so we know she didn't snitch. all she needs to do is come clean and then the decision is yours." I say and we look her.

'Alright. My mother was involved with a gang member and I was born into it. That gang however, got wiped out instantly. I grew up with my mother since my father was dead and we struggled the entire time trying to get by on what we had. As I got older, I learned a few tricks of my own, outsmarting the mobsters and supporting my mom. One day, it got out of hand and when I came home my mother was dead and there was note on the door telling me I'd better leave town or I would be next. I told a close friend of mine and they introduced me to this guy from Incorporeal and that's when this whole mess started. After they were taken down, I was alright for a while until those guys from  FK Crating Fixes butted in my life. I swear that's it, I have nothing to hide from the people that saved me the first time.'

"i find it strange that ya didn't ask to speak to the boss directly." I say.

'Are you crazy? Going directly to the boss of a mafia that can take down Incorporeal could get me killed.'

"are ya sure? are all mafia bosses like that?" I ask looking over at Alpha.

'I just can't believe it. Every time I think of a mafia, the mafiosos are bad. I can't imagine what a mafia boss would do to me. I don't jump from one gang to another for the fun of  it. I do it because it was the only way I could survive. It was literally my last option.'

"If we do take you in, what can you do for us?" Alpha asks.

'I can get information for you, on anything you want. I won't survive out there alone. Please, just talk to your boss for me.'

"Do you think it's a good idea Sans?" She asks me.

"i don't see why not." I reply.

'So then you'll tell your boss? Please let me know as soon as possible.'

"what are ya talkin about?" I ask her. "ya jus talked to the boss." I say pointing at Alpha and she freezes for a second.

'You're the boss? Are you serious, but you're a female. That's unheard of.'

"Of course it is. That's why I can walk around and people think I just work for the mafia. It's actually quite convenient if you ask me, but what they don't know is how quickly I can destroy them with the help of my family." She says.

'That's amazing, I never would have guessed. Oh, I never told you my name. I do apologize. My name is Aurora, but I use the name Charlotte around town so no one knows my real name.'

"That's fine. We normally only use actual names in the main house except Sans. As for me, my name is Ray, but everyone calls me Alpha...... except Sans, he calls me pup." She says poking my forehead. "Anyways, welcome to the family."
