Later that evening we got ready to head out. Aurora seemed nervous so LB helped calm her nerves before we left. We teleported to the docks, this time Aurora took it a little better, but not by much. She hid with me in one of the nearby buildings and we dozed off. I was awakened to the sound of cars and I pop up, waking Aurora in the process.
"What is it?" She asks.
"They're near by. Stay close to me." I reply.
"Trust me, you don't have to tell me twice." She says giggling.
"What is with your fascination with me? Please tell because any other human reacts as though I'm a freak of nature." I say looking at her.
"Honestly, I couldn't explain it if I tried. There's just something about you that I like, something special, but I can't have it. Even so, I cling to you like a child and you're probably younger than me." She replies.
"Actually, I don't age anymore." I say and she looks at me confused. "Well, I do mentally not physically. See, things have happened to me over the years and one of them happens to be an injection in my arm. I didn't know what it was or what it did to me, but it allowed me to save my family, but turned me into something that could never age, like an actual monster." I explain.
"I know you can't see me, but....."
"I can see you just fine actually." I giggle. "Wolves can see in the dark. That's how we hunt for prey. Anyways, they'll be pulling up in a few minutes, let's get ready."
"What about Frisk and Mr. Sans?" She asks me.
"Don't worry, LB knows they're almost here too." I say before I stop in my tracks. "Did you call him Mr. Sans?"
"Yeah, is that a bad thing?" She asks.
"No, but it's kind if funny considering everone calls him everything but Mister." I giggle. "Anyway, come on. They're pulling up." I say grabbing her hand and walking through the pitch black building. We make it outside where it's a straight shot for the docks. The boat pulls in the docks just as the car pulls up. We make a dash for one of the nearby boats and run into the other two.
"Hey there LB, Mr. Sans." I say giggling.
"That sounds kinda familiar." He says.
"kid, didya jus call me mr. sans?" LB says pointing to the main task at hand.
"Right. Aurora, can you swim?" I ask and she shakes her head. "Alright, you'll be Sans then." I say as LB and I slowly descend into the water and swim towards the boat. As we near the bottom, we approach the propellers and LB breaks those. I use my strength to put a hole in the boat, it takes about three or four hits, but I manage. We swim back around and come up for air before signaling Sans. Aurora quietly gets off the boat and makes her way toward them.
"Hey Kacey, you never got back to me. I've been waiting here for a while." She says aloud.
"Dammit Charlotte! You almost got yourself killed. What do you want? I'm busy." He replies.
"What's that?" She questions.
"It's something for a friends boss. Get outta here before you get me in trouble." He says.
"But Kacey, you never call me anymore. Can't I just wait until you're finished with whatever this is?" She asks.
"Fine. But dont you toucha damn thing. These crates are fragile." He replies. "So didya hear anything new round town?"
"Yeah. I did actually. I met someone from the group and gathered some info just for you guys, but you know my information doesn't come cheap." She says and I hear her giggling.
"Stop pullin my fuckin leg nd spill da beans." He says. "We got basically nothin on that damn group."
"Alright, alright. Well, I found out that they are extremely good at what they do. You know fighting and shooting and stuff. Two of them have really good hearing and they can see well." She explains.
"Charlotte, that's not what I was lookin for. That's useless, what happened to the good info ya use to give us. Ya know, location, inside scoops, and what not?" He asks.
"That's a little more difficult to come by with this group. They're sealed up tight you know. Oh! You're finished? Can we go now?" She asks and that's our que.
"Yeah, we can sweetheart. I'll take ya to any restauraunt ya want." I hear him say. Sans makes the shipment disappear and LB takes the guys quickly and quietly.
"Hey, you know what? I heard something else about them too. I heard they were going ambush you guys tonight." She says and I stay emerged in the shadows.
"Do you know who told them that we were goin to be here?" He asks.
"I did." She says.
"Yous workin for the enemy now!" He yells pulling a gun on her and I step up behind.
"I don't think you should do that." She says.
"And why shoudnt I decorate this place witcha brains everywhere." He says in a pissed tone.
"Boss wouldn't like that, not one bit." She says pointing behind him and he turns around to see my eyes glowing.
"You shouldn't hurt other people's families you know. That could get you in a lot of trouble." I say and he points the gun at me but it's immediately yanked from his hand and begins floating. I grab him by the face and chuck him in the water and we all take off. We stop at a local diner and sit in for grub. "You did great Aurora." I say praising her.
"Thanks. I wasn't sure if I could pull it off. I was terrified when he put that gun to my face because I didn't think you would do anything." She says softly looking down at her plate.
"I wouldn't let anything happen to you. We monsters have to stick together, unless you don't want to be one." I say and her pops up.
"No! I do!" She says loudly drawing attention to our table and we all start giggling.
"Love the enthusiasm." I reply.
