Chapter: 64

"So, how do you want to celebrate sweet heart?" Tony asks me.

"Can we go to that Casino? I've never been to one." I say looking at him.

"Alright. You wanna head over there right now?" He asks standing up.

"Yeah, let's go now. I'm ready, you're going to have to teach how to gamble though." I reply and he begins chuckling. I follow him to a car, a very nice red car with white leather interior and shiny cherry wood for the borders and inside handles. We drive for about twenty minutes before coming to a tall building with a sign that reads Red Gun-Round Casino. I walked inside eagerly and grabbed myself a water first.

"So, what do you want to play first?" He asks me handing me a hand full of colorful chips.

"I like Blackjack, it seems like an easy game." I say walking over to the table and taking a seat.

"Hey there little lady, you seem new to the table. Are you sure you want try it alone?" The dealer asks me with a smirk on his face.

"Yes. I'd love to give it a try." I say eagerly and the guys at the table start laughing.

"Maybe you shouldn't do Blackjack just yet." Tony says.

"Just let me try." I insist. I look past Tony and see Sans and begin waving my hand. "Sans! Sans! Over here, I'm playing Blackjack for the first time!" I yell and he turns his head in my direction then makes his way over.

"heya pup. howzit goin?" He says. "mind if i join in?"

"Yeah, if you want your bones kicked." I say as he takes a seat next to me and the dealer deals the cards.

"bring it on." He says and we both put half our chips on the table. The others look at us like we're crazy and everyone gets their two cards. I check to see what I got and glance over at Tony and then Sans who sends me a slight smirk.

"Hit me." I say and the dealer slides me another card.

"think ya gonna win pup?" He asks me. "hit me." And another card slides his way.

"You are so boned, Sans." I reply chuckling. "Isn't this fun, building up tension. We should hang out more often."

"yea, we should. this is kinda fun, i must admit. although if ya just kept it goin a little while longer...... never mind." He says and my ear twitches a bit. "sorry."

"You know, dogs are good at sensing things and I think you and I should celebrate." I say laying my hand down and does the same showing 21.

"yous a natural, i'm actually surprised that ya could read me." He says chuckling. "and we jus met today."

"Well you know what they say." I reply and he looks over at me. "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer."

"yep, ya right about that one." He says and we both begin to collect our winnings. "we should hang again sometime. i'll see ya around."

"Alright. See ya Sans." I say smiling as he makes his was to the exit.

"It's about time he left." Tony says in a pissed tone. "You seem to be getting along with him pretty well though, almost like you already know him." He looks at me suspiciously.

"I know he's a skeleton that works MCC and talks funny. He's good at Blackjack too." I say smiling at him and he raises an eyebrow.

"You seem to be good at Blackjack." He replies and I begin giggling.

"That was only my first time." I say standing up and heading for the door. "I don't know how to play anything else, yet."

"Well, let us go." He says following me. "Shall I drop you off at home?"

"Nah, it's fine. I'm gonna run, I need to exorcise." I reply. "Besides, I'm a lot faster than your car anyway."

"There is no way. I know a wolf can run up to 37 miles per hour, but no faster than that." He says shaking his head.

"Well let's find out." I say smiling. "And, I'll give you a head start." I say as he gets in the car and I stand there waiting.

"Are you sure?" He says.

"Well of course, I'm not the one who has to stop at stop lights or watch out for traffic. See ya at the cafe." I say giggling and he nods his head before taking off. I give him about 30 seconds before I start running and climbing buildings. I look down on his car from the rooftops and contemplate if I should smash his car while he's in it, but I decide to wait. I jump down right next to his car and he looks over at me a little shocked, I stick my tongue out at him and then head back to the rooftops. I run for about 10 or 15 minutes before finally coming to the cafe and I take a seat on the outside. I wait about another 10 minutes and Tony finally pulls up, his face even more shocked than before.

"Wow you weren't kidding. You are really fast." He says looking out of the passenger window.

"Well, you know what they say. You can't outrun fate." I reply chuckling. "I'm going to head home now so that I can cook."

"You sure you don't want me to drop you off?" He asks.

"It takes you about twenty minutes to get there and only takes me ten, I can manage." I say getting out of seat and climbing the building. I take off in the direction toward the house and arrive within 10 minutes. The wolves greet me for the first time in a long time and I walk them into the house.

"Welcome Back Alpha." Papyrus says.

"Hey Papy, LB, parents, dadster, Sans, and Michael." I say trying to catch my breath.

"did he buy it?" Sans asks me.

"Yeah, like the gullible idiot he is. I'm honestly ready to destroy this bastard and his entire company in the process. We should definitely go to the Casino more often though." I say chuckling.

"don't develop a gamblin habit pup, it's not good for ya." He says shaking his head.

"I won't, but I'm guaranteed to win." I say.

"of course ya guaranteed, you can count cards." He says chuckling. "and they're so unaware, they think ya so innocent which is the sad part."

"I know right. I'm just going to play them for all their money." I reply laughing.
