Chapter: 30

~ Alpha's P.O.V ~

After breakfast, I got dressed and headed down to the meeting hall with Sans. When we got there, everyone was already there seated at the table waiting.

"Hey everyone." I say making my way over to my seat.

"Afternoon Boss." They all say and I look at them in complete shock.

"Boss?" I question.

"Yeah, you're totally the right person for the job." Monster kid says.

"Definitely! Who can kick ass better than you?!" Undyne yells from the middle right hand side of the table and everyone else agrees.

"We need someone in charge, someone who knows about the surface." Asgore adds on. "What do ya say?"

"Alright." I let out a sigh and cheers ring throughout the hall. I get everyone to settle down and take my seat. "Well, I thought of a name for us if we're going to be taking people out." I say and they lean in intently. "I was thinking MCC, for Monster Corpse Collection." Everything goes silent.

"I love it!" Undyne yells and the chatter begins as they all discuss before agreeing to the name.

"Glad you guys like it. Now let's get down to business." I say letting out a sigh and changing my attitude. "First things first, all meetings will be Tuesdays at 1:00 pm unless something has come up. If you cannot make it, inform either me, Sans, LB, Michael, or Gaster. These are the main house people. Next, I have a few shipments coming in soon and I need 2-4 people who will be available to get those, Papyrus will handle that. I need a designer, everyone is getting new clothes so I need make sure you all agree. Next, we need to set up locations to target and take over. Almost all of you will be on the field at any given time, training will be with Sans for shooters and LB for close combat, see them for their schedule. If you have any questions, you know where to find me. The dogs will be handing out any kind of assignments that need to be handled. Any questions?" I ask. With no hands being raised, I revert to my normal self. "Alright, meeting dismissed."

"wow, ya did better than i thought." Sans says impressed.

"Well, I have to make sure I get my point across. They need someone in command, that's what I'll be." I say.

"well, do ya need anything before i go?" He asks.

"Where are you going?" I question.

"i'm sure ya forgot make calls to muffet and the others bout expandin the business. i'll handle it, and don't worry, lb is handin out the schedules now." He says rubbing my head.

"Always one step ahead of me." I say. "I'm gonna speak with Gaster." I add turning to leave only to see him right behind me.

"What did you need?" He asks.

"To see mom if that's okay." I say.

"Do not worry, she will be fine for now. You must focus, after all we're counting on you." He says patting my head.

"Right!" I say smiling. "I'm gonna head into town and get some food for the house. I also forgot, monster food is magic, we need to get that too."

"I'm already on it." He says.

"You guys are the best. I'll be back soon." I say walking off.

"Be careful." I hear dad say. I spot a few of the dogs and lying up ahead near the road.

"Hey, you guys wanna come to the store with me." I say looking at Reaper and Chiller.

'We have nothing better to do.'

"Well, let's go." I say taking off and they dash behind me. We reach the entrance of the town and I stop by a nearby convenient store and buy a couple bottles of water.

"Um, are Ray by any chance?" The cashier asks me.

"Yes, yes I am. Do I know you?" I ask looking a little confused.

"Well sort of. They used to call you wolf girl in our math class." He says. "It's me Jackie, former captain of the math club."

"Hey Jackie, how are you?!" I ask excitedly.

"Been barely getting by, I got my Computer Science degree for this." He says.

"Computer Science? We could use one of those." I say smiling. "How do you feel about joining a mafia?"

"No time for your silly games Ray, be serious." He says.

"I'm trying." I say and my phone rings. I answer and put it on speaker.

'Hey Boss, I should be able tuh get da shipment in today. I got all da best equipment nd I even threw in a few thermal goggles fuh free.'

"Awesome. I'll send someone to meet you by the docks. What time will you be here?" I ask.

"In about two hours. I used da plane one of my guys own. I was hopin tuh see da new Boss in person, but I guess I can wait."

"Sorry, maybe next time. Anyways, I'm out on a few errands. I'll give the pick up guy your number."

'a'ight.'

I hang up the phone and look up at Jackie before making another call and putting that one on speaker.

'hey cupcake.'

"Sans, the shipment will be here in about two hours. Since this one of the bigger loads, I need you and dad to teleport to the house. We can use the garage in the back and renovate if we need to."

'consider it done. also, the designer is here and said they will have the pictures sent to ya. all they need is the word and ya will all 200 outfits by next month.'

"Alright. That's fine."

I hang up the phone and let out a sigh.

"Jackie, how good are you with computers?" I ask.

"I majored in it." He says. "You're not kidding about this whole mafia thing are you?"

"Of course not. I have a family of monsters. You could join us, I'm sure they'll be very accepting." I say. "Honestly, you can try it out and see how you like it. Everything is paid for by me."

"No way! You have that kind of money?!" He questions.

"Yeah, we did take down Fontaine and Incorporeal. It wasn't too difficult, but the plan had it's ups and downs. Do you wanna give it a go?" I ask.

"Fine." He says. "I'll give it a shot."

"Hope you're okay with bloodshed." I say smiling. "Where's your manager?"

"He's in the back." He says pointing to the back. "Hey Joe! A customer wants to see you." He says and a tall man from behind the door.

"What do they want Jackie?" He asks and he looks at me. "Who let this puppy in the store?"
