Chapter: 24

~ Alpha's P.O.V ~

After the three of us finish showering, we head to our rooms to change. We make our way downstairs where we're greeted by some very familiar faces.

"Hey punks! Long time no see!" Undyne says smiling, Alphys standing next to her.

"Hi guys." She says softly.

Oh, my children. It's been so long since I've seen you. I see the skelebrothers are taking good care of you." Toriel says holding her famous Butterscotch-Cinnamon pie.

"It's good to see you too mom." I say hugging her and LB joins in.

"Hey guys, sorry if I'm just barging in, I can leave." I hear Napstablook say.

"It wouldn't be a reunion without you Blooky." I reply and that seems to cheer him up a bit.

"Hey Big Dog, Little Boss. I haven't seen you guys in forever. Thanks for saving me." Monster kid says peeking his head from behind Asgore.

"No problem. Anything for the family, right." I reply. Monster kid runs up and gives me hug. Then I give Asgore a hug before proceeding on with the greetings.

"Hey Alpha, look who it is." LB nudges me and points to the far back. I see a something bright and I bound towards it excitedly, LB right behind me.

"Grillby!" I yell as jump on him causing us both to fall to the ground and LB lands on top of us.

"Alpha, good to see you too." Grillby says sighing, the glint above his glasses gives away his happy expression. I get up first, lifting LB off of my back and then I help Grillby up.

"still can't handle the pup i see." Sans says walking up.

"Ah, Sans. I see you still have yet to pay your tab." Grillby crosses his arms.

"look grillbs, i'll--"

"Don't bother. Someone's looking out for you. It's all paid off." He says before walking off and I do the same before he figures out it was me.

"How about we all settle around the table?" I say aloud and all the murmuring makes it's way to the kitchen. I pull out the extra chairs and place them around the table and everyone takes their seat. LB and I then head to the kitchen to help prepare and bring out plates. For the first time, we all ate together as  a family and it felt great. I felt like it would never end, but it had to come to an end eventually. After we ate, we chatted a little more, catching up. Muffet seemed to doing well, Mettaton couldn't make it because of some photo shoot, Asriel came a little late, but he seemed to doing pretty good himself. Everyone left and we all got ready for bed. The next morning, breakfast was made, pancakes, waffles, eggs bacon, sausage, biscuits and jelly, and more.

"Good morning you three, this morning is build your breakfast." My mother says chuckling.

"Mom." I say yawning. "What's with all of this?"

"Just thought I would surprise the mafia trio with a good breakfast. We do have a long day ahead of us." She says.

"How much time mom?" I ask.

"About 4 days, but don't worry." She replies giving me a gentle smile. "I know you'll be alright. Now enough of this, let's eat." She adds and we all take a seat at the table and begin eating silently.

"Sans, about Gaster, he contacted me and said he would be here soon." I say breaking the silence.

"really, what'd he say?" He asks.

"He said he wanted to run some tests on me, you know, to see what that serum was and what it did to me." I reply.

"I ain't with it, but it's ya decision." He says still eating.

"Is that puncture bothering you again?" Papyrus asks me.

"No, I just don't know what it's going to do to me. I am glad you guys are okay because of it though." I reply smiling.

"Alpha, why didn't tell us about the full canine thing." LB asks.

"I didn't think it was necessary. More so because I didn't think I would actually use it." I reply.

"Is there any other forms you are hiding from us? Or that you haven't told us about." LB adds.

"Yeah, there is one more, but I rarely ever use that one and by that I mean I never use it, even during that fight with Gaster's pupil, I wasn't going to use it." I say and all eyes fall on me.

"what would make ya use that form, not that we'd try and get ya to use it." Sans asks.

"It's one of those things that..... ugh, it's a....... it has to be a bad situation. One of those, destroy this world things...... but with family. I think." I reply and they look at me funny. "It's hard to explain....... It's like if it would leave me by myself again. That's when it should trigger in a sort. If that helps." I try and explain.

"So, the world would have to be in danger for you to trigger it?" Papyrus asks.

"No, not the world." I sigh. "Okay, let's just drop it for now. I shouldn't have brought it up." I say.

"I'd say she was making it up, but after last night, I can't say anything." Michael says.

"Do we need food for the house?" I ask.

"Actually, we did run out of a few things. I made a list if you need it." She says placing it on the table.

"Alright." I say grabbing my hoodie. I pull a gun out from behind a compartment in the wall and place it on my side. "Sans are you coming?"

"yeah, gimme a sec." He says making the dishes float over to the sink. He grabs his jacket and hat and puts on before we head out.

"We'll be back soon." I say and we vanish from the porch. "You've gotten more accurate." I say as I look up at the grocery store sign.

"why wouldn't i be accurate. we've been here before." He says walking inside. We search around the store for everything we need and head to the checkout.

"Good evening you two, how is your day." The cashier asks.

"It's great. How about you?" I return the question.

"I'm fine. Thanks for asking." He replies. "Your total is 72.58."

"Are you really?" I ask raising an eye brow.

"What do you mean?" He looks up me.

"I can smell your fear." I say in whisper smirking. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone." I smile handing him the money. We make our way out of the store and I start giggling.

"why'd ya do that?" Sans ask me.

"Well, it was show him that he shouldn't monsters, but the unknown." I reply. "He didn't know if you would kill and so I threatened him a little."

"makes sense, but don't overdo it, ya gonna give someone a heart attack." He says.

"Alright." I say. I suddenly feel a hand touch my shoulder and immediately turn around grabbing their arm and placing my hand on the gun.

"Reflexes are as sharp as ever." He says. I let go and let out sigh before I start smiling.

"Don't scare me like that, Gaster."
