Aris' POV

Tuliro ako habang nagmamaneho pauwi. Di lang dahil galit sa akin si Andz, kundi dahil sa huling sinabi nito bago tuluyang magwalk-out.

"...The little girl's name is Emma. Madel named her after you, Engr. Aris Emmanuel Kho!"

And the feeling was intensified with Schulz's words nung ihatid nya ako sa sasakyan ko.

"I share my wife's feelings about the matter, douche. I saw it, too. Emma was terrified. We thought because she was lost. But no. It was because of the guy she referred to as her father. And Madel was a mess. I wasn't telling Drew my suspicion. I think they were trying to escape but failed. Please think about it. Bago ko maiandar ang kotse ko, Schulz tapped my window, "Hey douche, you may want to get in touch with Rob. I sought his agency's help. That would also keep you in tabs of my wife's extent of knowledge about Madel's case. You see, douche, if my wife says we will keep them and she won't give Madel and Emma to you, then so be it. That fragile woman can definitely command men, like this asshole, me, Mike and the rest of my friends in her own special way.

But hey, he said 'friends'. Napangiti ako sa isip ko.    

I drove away.

Hanggang makauwi ako at ngayong nakahiga na sa kama ko, iyon pa rin ang iniisip ko.

Alam ko na binigyan na ako ng hint ni Asshole. Tinutulungan ako nito para maunahan ko si Andz in a sense but hell! Why would I look for Madel?

To pacify Andz's anger, of course, you dumbass! Sabi ng isang parte ng utak ko.

Guilty ka kasi dahil tulad ng sinabi ni Andz at kinumpirma mo, ginamit mo noon si Madel! Sabi naman ng isang parte.

Shit naman, oo!

Isa pa, kahit papaano, malaki ang pasasalamat mo kay Madel na nailigtas nito si Hope mula sa kabalbalan nyo noon ni Schulz. And after all, she's a good person.
