Worse, I just realized how much damaged I have caused.
"M-madel..."
Isang mabigat na buntung-hininga ang binitawan nya at yumuko, "Nakuha mo na ang gusto mo, Aris. Inamin ko na ang ibinibintang mo sa akin. Pero...yung magso-sorry ako? Malabo kong gawin. Kasi..."
Umiling sya uli at sarkastikong natawa, "Makuntento ka na sana. Tutal, ayaw mo ring maniwala nung sabihin kong di mo anak si Emma."
"Emma is my daughter," I said firmly.
" Sige, bahala ka. Ang importante, masaya ang anak ko," tila pagod nyang sabi taspos tumalikod na.
"Madel naman..." habol kong tawag.
