*Josh's POV* When Dr. Lincoln tells me that I get to go to a regular room I'm ecstatic. He said there's been no obvious improvements in my legs, but no set backs either, and my vitals are completely normal. I ask where my room will be, and he says that there's only two available options both of which are in the western part of the 4th floor. There is no private rooms available, so I have to share a room with somebody. I don't mind that. I'm going to be here for so long, I think I'd get too bored by myself. He says that I can only room with somebody that has him or some guy named Dr. James as a doctor because of some hospital room, and because of my condition and conditions of other patients on that floor I have exactly two options where I can stay. One is with a 20 year old girl who has been here for a little over a week and has some rare type of cancer, and will be here around the same amount of time I am. She has a simple treatment twice a day and other than that doesn't need much care. The other option is a 61 year old man who will be in the hospital until the day he dies about. He has a brutal disease that makes his life miserable and makes him cry out in pain frequently, cough, and vomit up blood a lot with pretty much no possible treatment. He can't help it, but it makes his roommates stay not so great. I think the choice is pretty obvious. My mom says she'll go and get some lunch, shower, and then come see how I'm getting settled in my new room so I tell her goodbye. After a few hours a nurse comes up and introduces herself to me as Nicole. "I'm on pretty much everyday, and your room is always on my schedule so you'll be seeing a lot of me!" she says as she attaches me to the machine that will help her lift me into a wheelchair to bring me down to my new room. "Man, It's kinda embarrassing when a nice young nurse has to help me into a wheelchair in the god awful, back open, hospital gown." I say smiling at her, "and then has to move my catheter too." [A/N the definition of a catheter is the following: a flexible tube inserted through a narrow opening into a body cavity, particularly the bladder, for removing fluid. So basically it's a tube that goes up Josh's dick and when he has pee in his bladder it just goes through the tube automatically and empties into a little bag since he can't get up to pee by himself] I make a joke about it, but really.. It sucks. It's so awkward. She not only has to see my bare ass in a hospital gown but gets to bring a bag of my pee with her. "I've seen much worse than your toned backside and a catheter bag.And the good news is, in regular rooms you can wear your own clothes if you want!" She says giving me a smile, "Do you have an personal belongings in here?" "My mom has a bag of some of my stuff in that closet" I say motioning. She grabs the duffel bag that my mom had went to my house to pack for me with sweatpants, tshirts, socks and underwear, my cell phone and a few other things and sets it on my lap. I don't feel it, I just see that's where she puts it. She pushes me and my iv post down to the elevater and then presses the button '4' once the door shuts. When we get to the fourth floor, she shows me the therapy room I'll be spending a lot of time in and then she along with another nurse help me into my own clothes. After that's done, she brings me to where she says my room is. She goes in for a second, and then comes back out and pushes me in. I take everything in. White walls, White floors, White everything. Near the door there's a bed with a chair and a few machines in it, with a girl in the bed. I look at the girl then, I really look at her. I just stare for a few seconds. I don't know why, because she looks really confused, almost even angry, but she is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. she is hands down gorgeous. I realize I'm staring and smile at her, I can't help it. Her face just makes me want to smile. Then I say the words that I know will change my life. They'll change my life because I know once this girl is part of my life, everything is going to change. They'll change my life because I think I'm in love with the person I'm saying them to. "Hey, I'm Josh. It's nice to meet you!"
