"Do you have another sibling or a secret boyfriend I should worry about impressing?" he asks jokingly. "Nope, no other siblings, no secret boyfriend. Just be yourself, I know it'll be fine." you say looking over at him quickly and returning your eyes to the road, "Everybody loves you when they meet you Josh. You just have to be yourself and you'll be fine." Josh smiles at you as you continue driving but quietly says "You didn't.." After getting onto the freeway and drive for awhile you take the exit that brings you right to your grandma's house, and pull up into the driveway. "Is this your house?" Josh asks you. "Well, my grandma's. I moved here when I was seventeen after my parents accident." you say, "it's not much, but uh.. It's home." You're suddenly very embarrassed by the small two story house with three rooms, one bathroom, a small kitchen and living room, that has chipped paint, old appliances, and could really use a makeover. "so uh, are we here to meet your grandma?" Josh asks you. "Yeah, I haven't seen her for a month, and I really would like you to meet her." you say, adding "I met your mom, and well.. She's the closest thing I have to a family besides Henry and Rosie." Josh takes a deep breath and says "I wish you would've told me we were coming here.. I would have put jeans on and done my hair instead of wearing a hat. I just.. I don't wanna make a bad impression." You smile at how nervous he instantly became. "I didn't know we were going to come, I just realized I should come visit. And don't worry Josh, she already likes you." you tell him, unbuckling and opening the door. "She's never even met me.." Josh says and respond "I know, but I've talked about you on the phone." you say. Josh rolls onto the ramp and you lower him down, and he waits for you as you put the van back to how it was. "Oh and don't worry about your chair.. My grandma had this boyfriend for a couple years who had a lot of trouble walking because of his hip or something so he put a ramp in the back " you tell Josh before he can use that as an excuse. You take the handles of his wheel chair and bring him around back, and up the ramp leading to your grandma's house and knock softly on the door before walking in. "Grandma?" you call out. You walk from the entry way to the kitchen as she walks from the living room to the kitchen and she squeals, running over to you and taking you in her arms. "Savannah Rose!" she smiles "hi grams." you say returning the smile. You turn and see Josh sitting still where he was when you left him, quietly trying to disappear. "Grandma I'd like you to meet someone." you say grabbing her hand and walking over to Josh.
