Quinn facing Cormac
Walking down the street, Quinn is furious with himself for letting something like that to happen to Shayla. He swore that after that fight with Cormac that he wouldn't let anything like that happen to her again, and now it's happened again, and I couldn't do anything to stop it, yet again.
Walking down Main Street, he came up to the book store.
He caught sight of movement and he lost control.
Slamming the door open, Cormac jumped looking up at Quinn standing there.
"What can I do for you?" He asked smiling at him. "What you did to Shayla!" "What do you mean? What happened to her?" "Don't you play dumb with me, you broke into the house, and attacked her. You tried to kill her!" "I did not. Someone attacked her?" He asked faking surprise. "Don't do that. I know it was you. No one in town would have done that. You hate her, and me." Stepping up to him; he said. "If you ever do anything to her again, I will end you. I know what you are, and you know what I am. I will destroy you. No matter what it takes."
Quinn started to move away, but Cormac grabbed him, shoving him into the wall, pinning him in place.
"Don't you threaten me hunter. Yes I know what you are. I did not attack her. I need her alive. So don't you ever threaten me like that again!" Quinn pushed against him, hitting him in the face, and they started fighting, hitting each other, knocking books everywhere.
After several good hits someone rushed in, pulling the two apart. "What the hell is going on in here?" Lisa demanded, holding into Quinn.
"It's nothing just a misunderstanding." Quinn said wiping the blood off his mouth.
Grabbing Lisa's arm, he started pulling her out of the store. "Remember what I said Cormac!"
They glared at each other, and slammed the door behind them.
Quinn and Lisa didn't say anything to each other as they walked into the shop, making Tina jump as they walked in. She looked at each of them, settling on the blood on Quinn's lip. Lucky for them at the moment the shop is empty.
"What the heck happened to you?"
"Long story. Quinn get in the back now!" Lisa put the closed back in ten sign on the door, and followed him into the back. "What happened out there?"
Walking up to the sink, Quinn said, turning on the sink. "I got into a fight with Cormac." "Why?" Turning back to them, he said. "He hurt you, and he hurt Shayla. And I just got sick of seeing him around town, acting like he owns the place. So I just lost it."
Washing the blood off his face, he has a couple cuts on his face, a black eye; and a busted lip. "So why did you call me?" He asked turning back to Lisa and Tina.
"It's nothing. You're hurting, and Shayla is sick. Go home and take care of her, and yourself. We can handle it."
He wants to argue, but the look she's giving him shut him right up. Quinn nodded, and headed out to the front of the store, heading for the door.
Lisa went to the cash pulled out a pouch, checking it before handing it to him, pointing at the door.
"Go home we'll take care of the place." He nodded. "Thank you." Taking the pouch, he got out as fast as he can, heading straight back to the house, and trying really hard, not to go back, and deal with Cormac once and for all.
Head down, he made it back to the house without seeing anyone seeing him.
