  Quinn And The Sword

Walking out of the store, Quinn looked around, there's no one around, that should concern him, but something doesn't feel right around him.

Loading the last of the stuff for the bakeshop, he paid for everything, and went on his way.

He has one more stop to make before he goes back to Shayla. He feels bad about leaving Shayla there with Emily, but he can't worry about that right now; but in truth she's not alone, she has Eliana with her, to keep her safe.

Certain she will be safe, he went to his next stop. He pulled over in front of a weapons shop, Shayla was right about one thing, Cormac has to be stopped, and there is only one way to get rid of him, it has to be death, his death.

He could just go to his Uncle about this problem, but he cannot go to him about this, his Uncle can't know about Cormac, if he does, then he will know about Shayla, and that can, not happen. He will not let anything happen to her, more than already has.

"How may I help you young man?" A lady asked as he walked further into the shop. "I need a sword." She nodded, and moved from behind the counter.

She showed him right to the swords, some hanging on the wall, and some in cases; he browsed them, then he picked one up, it's perfect; black and gold handle, etchings on the blade. "It's perfect, I'll take it." "Perfect." She took it up to the counter, and rang it up, marking it in a book, and setting it in a box for him. Quinn pulled out cash, handing it to her. "Thank you." He said taking the box.

He buried it under stuff for the shop, and pulled out his phone. He sent a quick text and climbed in the car.

He will protect Shayla whatever it takes, and it will end in someone's death, his or Cormac's but he will keep her safe, no matter what.

He is beginning to fall in love with her.
