Not of fires raging

Waters gushing

But embers of my soul

Had none to kindle

And then dwindle

No shield or sword at hand

Nothing of such plight

And my thinning hope

On a burnt rope

And run a comet trail

What they call home

Or visit stars afar

On a clouded dream

Where it might seem

Like a thousand winters

When rains were above

A placeless love

Where suns were forgotten

And darkness was wed

And so I led
