This is a poem about dreaming and being contented about what you have.

ENOUGH

I never dreamed of crossroads

That led me up the sky

And let me see the colors

That flashed before my eyes

I never dreamed of talents

That made me like star

And gave me adoration

That took me places far

I never dreamed of objects

That praised, rewarded me

And stole all my attention

That I needed to be

I never dreamed of anything

That I have never reached

I dreamed of something simpler

The comfort that I seek

A friend who understands me

And keeps my trust uncut

A person who can talk and

Can take me by my gut

A place that hears my laughter

The voice inside my head

A view that does not answer

But listens well instead

A book that I can write on

To show my truer self

A pen I can rely on

When I needed some help

Some music, some emotion

When I needed to stop

A bed and fluffy pillows

All that, it is enough
