Another of my first successful poems, this one is like poem number three, except that it focuses on the boy’s part, and it sort of puts the kind of scene where the boy can’t get over the girl because the girl is always there, in person and in memory. Anyway, let me remind you that all succeeding poems have meter and rhyme. :)

CHOKED

Never mind, I’ll do it my way

You’re the water that makes me drown

I just want you to go away

To keep myself from breaking down

All these years, I’ve been hating you

Trying my best to feign and lie

This world isn’t a perfect view

I’m losing air; I want to die

Your presence is a work of fate

I want to scream and keep awake

Forget those times, forget that date

And burn them all for my own sake

Not this time, please don’t ruin me

My life had suffered blue and black

All I want is just to be free

But why do you keep on coming back?
