Tristan Tanner
"And what the hell are you doing?" I questioned, turning on the light into the kitchen.
Cheryl peered up to look at me, scrolling through her laptop. She was sat down on the dining table, eating a few cherries from a bowl next to her. I had stayed over at Cheryl's house, since I was suspicious of Julia using her 'high-tier' advantage to take revenge. I used to be close to a few high-tiers, so I knew their nature, especially with all the possible information of Julia that I could understand. I walked over to her and sat down next to Cheryl, who peered back at the laptop with weary eyes.
"Before I took her down, Julia called me something, and I'm trying to find information on it," she replied in a low voice.
I sighed and rubbed my eyes, exhausted. Too much happened today, and I couldn't believe she was so active. Sighing, I suggested, "Can't you do it tomorrow? We have school for Pete's sake!"
After a moment of debating, she closed her laptop and nodded softly. "Ah, you're right, you're right.." she mumbled. Cheryl looked over at me with a small smile. "I guess it's been bugging me too much to leave behind." I took a cherry from her bowl, making her whack my hand.
"If you don't mind me asking," I began, biting into the cherry. "What did she call you?"
Cheryl sighed, closing her eyes and murmured, "'Princess of'. Just that. She never got to finish her sentence because I literally beat her up right after."
"Well, we could search it up later tomorrow at school," I responded, putting the pit of the fruit onto the napkin she had. "Right now, you should get some sleep. It's literally midnight now."
"Alright then."

Looks like the injuries have worn off though. That's good. Today, Tristan was accompanying me to school. I looked over at Tristan, only to pause and cover my mouth to keep in the giggles. This made him look at me in utter confusion. I pointed at the top of his head, saying, "There's a squirrel on your head. I think it's a baby squirrel."
He froze suddenly, stopping in his tracks with horror struck across his face. "W-What? Is it awake?"
I shook my head, smiling at his startled reaction. Wow. He really is thick-headed, and not just personality wise. "Shh. Here, here. Hold still, you big idiot." He bent down to reach my height with his eyes closed, scared and frightened. He didn't like animals much, especially small animals that he could drop. Pulling out a napkin, I carefully grabbed the sleeping squirrel into my hands and put it gently down on a branch of a nearby tree. We were discussing some everyday things earlier in the snow because of the extra time we had before school, so the squirrel must've hung onto him without him noticing. "There."
"It's gone now, right?" Tristan asked, still frozen.
I held in a laugh. "Yeah, it's gone."
He opened his eyes, an embarrassed blush spreading across his face. "Oh thank goodness."
"Dork."
"I'm not a dork!"
As we walked to the school, my mind somehow kept wandering off to the Princess thing. No matter what I looked at, it kept reappearing in my head. I sighed, and Tristan glanced over at me with a questioning look.
