Well then. Let's get straight to the point.
I had many alternate endings because many ideas seemed to boggle my mind. But let's review just only a few of them. Keep in mind that these endings start from the climax of the story and to the actual end.
- Tristan remained dead, and in turn, Cheryl committed suicide.
I didn't really like this one because it would've been a sad ending, considering the fact that Scarred Beauty has a sweet little ending.
- Tristan comes back to life, only to find that Cheryl committed suicide before his very eyes.
It would've been something of Tristan hearing screams outside the hospital, and he hears that the Fallen Snow Angel was at the roof of the hospital. The doctors are trying to calm him down as he protests and says he has to save her. Then he's outside but it's already too late.
I feel that I need to write this part down to make it dramatic. This is Tristan's POV you guys.
Slamming the hospital doors open, I found that a crowd of people stood in the midst of the streets. Their faces were contorted in terror. Fear. I looked in the direction of where everyone was staring, screaming, and my hands flashed a bright emerald green. Life slowed down in time. The people's movements seemed to stop, barely even trembling anymore. I suddenly clutched my chest, coughing vigorously. I can't hold time back for much longer. I heard a small whimper to where everyone was looking. Whipping my head around, my eyes widened.
Cheryl.
Slowing in time, she almost seemed to stop from falling, but still moving at such a fast rate. Tears were already streaming down her face, and her grey eyes spotted me. Something had happened. A flash of purple crossed in her eyes. I couldn't move at all seeing her like this. I couldn't feel my legs or my arms. Cheryl is trying to kill herself. Again, something happened. Almost an inch away from slamming into the ground, her eyes softened their gaze and a smile grazed her lips, tears spilling.
"I love you, Tristan."
And time resumed again.
Screaming. Terror. Crying. People trying to get around to her. A dead body. Blood. I almost fell to my knees in that instant, hearing the crack, seeing the blood, and feeling my heart stop in my throat. The screams of the people made their way into my head, and I felt them pounding. The sounds drowned out as their screams repeated in my head, over and over again.
Come back.
My eyes widened.
Come back!
Blurry tears filled my eyes as I comprehended what had just happened. My heart seemed to drop in my chest, resting onto the same blood-torn ground as Cheryl did, lifeless. My hands covered my ears, trying to cover up the screams and cries from the people, only to hear my own inner voice screaming. My breathing became ragged, and I suddenly fell over into the pool of blood, hyperventilating. A few hospital staff came out and went up to me, others taking stand by Cheryl. I felt hands trying to get me to stay calm, but my eyes squeezed shut, and I ignored them.
COME BACK, DAMMIT!
- Tristan actually never died at all.
This one had no action or excitement, I obviously left it behind.
- Tristan came back to life and actually asked Cheryl's college if he could meet up with her privately.
As you can see, I didn't really enjoy these as much as the actual ending.
