The Biggest Secret

Hermione POV:

It's her birthday... My other daughter... Blaise and I's daughter. She's a year younger than Ember and we hid her well. Draco, Pansy, Fred, and everyone else have no clue she exists. Blaise and I had an affair back when Draco and I were together because we both suspected Pansy and Draco were cheating on us with each other. As a result of that affair, Flicker Blair Zabini/Granger was born. We hid the pregnancy well with concealment charms, and when she was born we hid her with my parents in the america. She attends the american wizarding school... but due to the recent death of my parents we are being forced to go get her today and come clean about the entire thing... I'm terrified Fred might leave me because of her... but she's my child and I wont abandon her. "Love, I'm going to hang out with Blaise. I'll be back soon." I tell Fred giving him a quick kiss and flooing over to my parent's house. When I arrive I find Blaise already in the living room talking with Flicker. When she sees me she smiles brightly and greets me "Hello, Mum!" "Flicker, Come give mummy a kiss." I say, opening my arms wide. She runs over to me and hugs me tightly, planting a kiss on my cheek. 

Flicker is the perfect combination of Blaise and I. She has Blaises dark skin, my mess of curls, and my dark brown eyes that take the shape of Blaises eyes, and Blaises full lips. She was a very smart girl as well. I think she will be either a Ravenclaw or a Hufflepuff. "Mom, Who am I going to live with?" she asks me. I freeze in my tracks at her question though... "I don't know, Love." I look to Blaise for help but he looks just as concerned as I am. "We will figure it out, Lets go pack your stuff, darling." "Okay, Dad." Flicker takes off down the hall and into her room, dragging Blaise with her. An hour later Flicker has everything packed and is ready to go to England for the first time. Blaise and I wrote telling everyone to meet at the burrow for a family meeting. We step into the floo and floo over to the burrow, shielding Flicker from the view of everyone. "Okay, So we have some stuff we need to come clean about." Blaise says looking at me so I would start talking. "Eleven years ago today, A baby was born... A Zabini/Granger baby. This is Flicker Blair Zabini/Granger." I say pulling her in front of me. 

Everyone looks shocked by this news... Except for Pansy who just looks neutral about the whole thing. Pansy is the first person to say anything, "Considering eleven years ago, I had an affair with McLaggen... We are even, Love." Blaise lets out a breath of relief. I look over at Fred who looks angry, he opens his mouth and says, "How could you not tell me about this? I'm your husband and you didn't think it would be necessary to inform me you had a hidden love child? Damnit, Mia." I feel tears pool in my eyes as I start to speak, "We tried to keep her hidden... We didn't want to loose you and Pansy, so we didn't tell you about her.. She lived with my parents in America until they died three days ago... I just didn't want to loose you..." I say, the tears coming out of my eyes and running down my cheeks. Fred sighs, stands up, walks over to me, and pulls me into a hug. "Mia, We took an unbreakable vow when we married, I can't leave you even if I wanted to... Not that I would anyway. It's just I feel like we've all missed so much with your life... I just don't know anymore." I hug Fred back and whisper 'I'm sorry' over and over. 

"I'm sorry to be a bother... But, where will I live?" Flicker asks softly from the back of the room, her American accent turning everyone's heads in her direction. I open my mouth to tell her, that once again I did not know... but Fred speaks first. "With your mother and I of course." Blaise and Pansy look relieved at Freds words and make up some lame excuse to leave. "I suppose we should taker her to Hogwarts... and get her enrolled at school." I say looking at Fred, who keeps looking at Flicker. "Love, Can we change her name to Flicker Blair Granger/Zabini?" "No, she likes her name the way it is." "Okay... Lets go get her a spot at school. Mum, can you watch Andrus, Blaine, Charlie, and Octavia?" Fred asks his mother who is playing with the babies on the floor, "Yes! I would love to watch them!" Molly exclaims looking rather happy. We send Flicker through the floo first, and as soon as she is gone, Fred whispers to me "We need to have a long conversation about trust tonight." before pulling me into the floo and flooing over to Neville's office. 

"Fred? Hermione? What are you two doing here? Who is this?" As soon as we step out of the fire place Neville is asking us twenty questions. "Neville, This is Hermione's daughter... Flicker Blair Zabini/Granger. We would like to have her sorted and started in classes. Shes already done half of her first year at the American school, but due to recent circumstances she needs to be placed here." Nevilles jaw hits the floor when he hears Zabini/Granger but he stutters about how of course she could be sorted into a house and attend school here. "Follow me over to the hat, sweetheart." Neville says to Flicker as he walks towards an old stool and pulls the hat off of a shelf. Flicker sits down on the stool, and Neville places the hat on her head. The hat takes nearly six minuets trying to sort her before finally calling out...
