Warnings: Gorey, kidnapping, death, suicide
Come with me and you'll be in a world of pure imagination
Keith was worried. Lance had been missing for four days. Where could he have gone?
He was wandering the empty hallways of the castle-ship. His footsteps echoing with every step he took. His mind was racing, trying to remember where he last saw Lance.
Nobody else on the team was worried.
"It's just Lance being Lance again." Pidge had said as she rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, he's probably just goofing around to mess with us," Hunk added.
They didn't understand. What if Lance wasn't just 'goofing off'? Where could he be?
Suddenly, Keith felt a pair of hands cover his mouth and drag him away.
Take a look and you'll see
Keith struggled, but whoever had caught him was strong. Stronger than anybody Keith had met.
Who had taken him? How did this stranger sneak onto the ship without anybody noticing?
After a minute, Keith stopped struggling. What was the point? He knew he wouldn't be able to break from the stranger's grip.
After a few more minutes of being dragged, the capture let go of Keith. Keith quickly turned around and his breath got caught in his throat.
"Lance," He said. He tightly hugged Lance.
"Are you okay? Where did you go? Are you hurt?" Keith quickly and nervously asked.
"I'm fine," Lance replied, his voice coarse and rough.
"Just busy. Did the other's miss me?" He asked. Keith sighed.
"They... thought you were just messing around," Keith admitted. He pulled away from the hug. When he saw Lance's face, he gasped.
Something was wrong.
Lance's face was... different. His ears were more pointed, his eyes, bigger and less blue. Faded.
His hair was a mess and his clothes were all black and ripped up.
"Lance, what-" Keith was interrupted by Lance placing his fingers to his lips.
"I'll show you," Lance said. He took Keith's hand and lead him to a bare wall.
Into your imagination
"Right through here," Lance said. He stepped toward the wall, and Keith was sure he was going to bonk his head. Surprisingly, he didn't. He went right through, dragging Keith behind him.
Keith felt a chill go through his back. The passing was cold and somehow bitter. Everything was dark for those few seconds. It unnerved Keith.
When he was met with a light, he blinked.
"Where are we?" Keith asked. Lance smiled and in the light, Keith could see that his teeth were sharpened to a point.
"A world of pure imagination. I found this place yesterday. I was sulking in that room and leaned against the wall, falling into this world. Let me show you something," Lance said. He let go of Keith's hand and walked to the center of the room, Keith quickly following him.
Lance stopped when he was in front of a large ball of glass.
"Watch," Lance instructed.
