"So, school , homework, eat, sleep, repeat from monday to friday. What you do during the weekend?"
"Anything. Normally meet with friends."
"Sounds fun."

I was with Davina in Topangas. We were talking about school and college.

"What you planning to do when you leave school?"
"Nursing."
"What college?"
"The one your going to hopefully."
"It is a nice place." She smiled.
"You just like it because my brothers there."
"Hey, a girl can dream."
"And that same girl can chase her dreams."
"Yea not going to happen."
"Why not?"
"Why not?! Because, he probably doesn't know I exist."
"well get him to. Talk to him."
"Is that how you got Lucas?"
"something like that yea." I blushed.
"You know what, your right."
"Yea."
"I'll talk to him in college tomorrow. Wow Rach, you give such good advise. Thanks. Your a true friend."

She walked out of the cafe. I walked up to katie.

"Hey katie."
"Hey sweetie. What can I get ya?"
"Umm I'm not here for anything. I was wondering if you were hiring?""
Why? You looking for work?"
"Yea."
"Well as a matter of fact we are. Are you up for it?"
"Yea."
"Great. Start Monday, after school."
"Great, seya then."
"Alright."

I walked out and made my way to the park. I sat on one of the benches and looked at all the children playing. I then noticed a young boy , around 5, sitting on the swings looking sad. I made my over to him.

"Hey buddy, you alright?" I asked sitting on the swing beside him.
He shook his head.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"My parents died and I was sent to an orphanage. No one in there talks to me."
"I know how you feel. My parents died when I was young too. Actually, just as I was born."
"Your an orphan too?"
"Kinda. My brother and his wife took me in."
"Your lucky. None of my family wanted me." he hung his head.
"You know, your parents may have left you too see, but they are always there."
"How?"
I pointed to his chest.
"In your heart. They never left."
He smiled.
"My names Dean. What's yours."
"Rachel."
"do you want to play with me?"
"Sure, why not."

He took my hand and brought me over to the see saw. we laughed and played for the day. At around 3 we sat on the ground tired.

"Which orphanage are you in?"
"St Colmens."
"Come on, I'll walk you back. That's across from where I live."

He took my hand and we walked back to his. We stopped at the door.

"I'll seya tomorrow." I smiled.
His face lit up.
"Really?"
"Of course. Pick you up at 10?"
"Great."
Alright. Bye dean."
"Bye Rachel."

I watched him in before I crossed the street and made my way back home.
