From Fan to Friend

2. The Begining

Olivia POV

Before I started a Youtube channel there was this one Youtuber I would always watch. He inspired me to start a channel. Logan Paul.

"Mom, Dad!? Can we go to vidcon this year?" I yelled down the hall while I was walking down it.

"When is your birthday Ol?" Cosette looked up from her laptop.

Ol is what my parents call me for a nickname.

"Mom you know my birthday" I laughed at her.

My dad came running up behind me and stood behind me and wrapped his arms around me and had 3 VIP tickets to vidcon "here you go sweetie"

"Dad! You are the best!" I turned around and gave him the biggest hug ever.

I ran upstairs and started packing. Our flight doesn't leave till tomorrow but I like to pack early.

Tomorrow came and I finished all my school work and submitted it on Google Classroom. I packed my laptop and my chargers and dvd extension. I opened my twitter app and saw a tweet notification from Logan Paul.

LoganPaul tweeted:
Hey guys! Can't wait to meet all you guys at vidcon today!! Be a Maverick! Dent the Universe guys🔝〽️

I immediately liked it. I got a twitter notification.

'You have a new follower, LoganPaul'

"AHHHH OMG MOM, DAD!!! LOGAN PAUL JUST FOLLOWED ME ON TWITTER!!!" I ran downstairs to my mom and dad.

"Sweetheart, Get your bags we are heading!" My dad smiled at me.

I ran upstairs and got my bags.

I ran downstairs grabbed a water bottle out of the fridge and grabbed a package of Oreos and a banana.

My dad took my bag and put it in the boot of the car.

We didn't live far from where vidcon was this year. It was in Hollywood. We live in LA. Doesn't take us far at all.

-20 minutes later-
(I looked it up. It takes 21 minutes from Los Angeles to get to Hollywood)

After the drive I get out of the car grab my back pack and my parents walk up to the receptionist bc we are also here for my parents. They both have a channel as well.

"You're room is on floor 3 room 420" the receptionist said.

"Thank you" Dad said.

He grabbed his bag and my moms bag and I followed them to the elevator up to room 3.

We got into our room and we unpacked I went to the bathroom.

"I'm going to go look around. This place is beautiful" I say starting to walk to the elevator.

"Okay. Keep your phone on so if we need you we can call you" Mom said smiling at me.

"Will do" I walked to the elevator and went down to the lobby to looking around.

I walked around the hotel taking pictures for Instagram.

I opened Twitter and posted a picture of the vidcon sign. I wrote a caption 'Can't wait to meet all you guys tomorrow!' I posted it.

Logan liked it. He commented 'I'm a big fan! Can't wait to meet you and your parents tomorrow'

I liked it back. And commented on that 'I'm a big fan of you too! Logang 4 Life!'

Within 2 minutes there were over 1,000 (1 thousand) comments on our convo saying stuff like
'Omg I ship it!'
'They will make the cutest couple!'
'I can already imagine their children being the cutest beings ever!'

But there were also hate like any Youtuber gets like
'No! She is just saying she's a fan for the publicity'
'Logan is not a fan at all he's just trying to give Olivia more attention so he doesn't get any at all'
'Who would be a fan of the Logan Paul dude?'
'Olivia's videos put me to sleep I can't believe people watch her'

I've learned to ignore the hate. That's exactly what I did. I ignored the hate. But I really wanted to know something. So I went to DMs and DMed Logan.

OliviaButterfieldFL: Hey Logan, did you just say you were a fan for publicity?
(That twitter is not a real account)

LoganPaul: no of course not! I love your channel and both your parents! I actually can't wait to meet you!"

I smiled and put my phone in my back pocket and continued to look around. I decided to go back to the room.

"LOGAN IS A BIG FAN OF US! ALL 3 OF US!" I walked in the room screaming.

"We know sweetie" dad chuckled "we got tagged in tweets and screenshots of your conversation with Logan"

"Oh, well I'm going to bed. Night mom night dad" I hugged them both.

"Night sweetie" they smiled at me.

I went into my bed and played Logan Paul's songs and I eventually fell asleep.
