65. Dad

Olivia POV

Jeff was about to say something when we heard a knock at the front door.

"I'll go" I suggested.

Before Logan or Jeff could say anything I was already opening the door.

"Mom?! What's wrong?" I run to my mother who's crying.

My mom grabs me and holds onto me as tight as she could.

"It's your father" she said while crying.

"What happened to dad?" I asked.

"He's in the hospital" mom said with a shaky voice.

I felt people walk up behind me.

I started crying too. Logan and Jeff hugged my mom and I. I went into Logan's arms and Jeff took my mom in his arms.

"Can we go see dad?" I asked my mom.

"Yes" Mom let go off Jeff.

"I'm driving" Logan spoke up.

I was still holding onto him. I jumped and wrapped my legs around his waist while I wrapped my arms around his neck.

He walked with me hanging onto him out to the car.

"Come on Liv. Please get down" Logan unlocked the car.

"Jeff!" I yelled to Jeff.

He came over and I let go of Logan and wrapped my arms around Jeff's neck and let my legs leave Logan's waist and swung them over to Jeff's waist.

Now I was hanging onto Jeff.

I refused to get off of him.

Jeff had to sit in the back seat with me still hanging onto him.

I was in Jeff's lap with my arms and legs still wrapped around him. My mom was in the front seat with Logan.

We got to the hospital. Jeff got out of the Yeti.

Jeff put his hands on my back "we are here Olivia. Come on"

"I'm holding onto you" I mumbled into Jeff's chest.

"I'll take her" Logan walked over.

"Livy, sweetie. Let go of Jeff. Let's go see dad" Logan put his hand on my back.

I unwrapped my legs from Jeff and just hung there from his neck.

I jumped down. Wiped my tears from my eyes.

My mom hugged me.

All 4 of us went inside and asked the front desk where my dad was.

We all went up and all walked in.

My dad was laying there in the hospital bed with IV's in his arm and an oxygen machine on his face. I started to tear up.

Cosette POV

It killed me to see my daughter like this.

"Mrs. Butterfield?" A doctor said in the room.

"Yes?" I saw him.

"Can I speak with you out in the hall?" The doctor asked.

"Yes" I followed him out.

"Mrs. Butterfield, Aaron was in a horrible car crash as you know and he was so badly hit we don't know if he will make it, I'm sorry Mrs. Butterfield" the doctor explained to me.

"What? No" I cried and the doctor hugged me.

"I'm sorry" the doctor rubbed my back.

Olivia POV

The heart monitor was beeping like it normally does when I heard it go flatline. I looked up at the screen and I saw a straight line.

"DAD! NO!" I screamed and started crying hard.

Doctors and nurses came in wanted me to move but I refused to leave my dad.

Logan grabbed my waist from behind and pulled me to him.

I turned around and cried into Logan's chest.

"I know, I'm here Olivia" he rubbed my back while hugging me.

I looked over and saw Jeff hugging my mom.

My mom let go of Jeff and came over to me and I let go of Logan and my mom and I just stood there hugging each other.
