This is a sequel to my first book "The Girl in Love" I recommend reading that one first. But this one is about a girl named Olivia who went to Vidcon with her parents and met Logan Paul and became Best Friends with him.
I called my dad "I'm coming back now. Unlock the door for me"
"Come with Gabbie. I want to ask her about last night" dad said with a suspicious voice.
"Okay dad" I hung up the phone.
"Oh crap I forgot to text Gabbie. I really gotta go" I gave Logan a hug before walking out the door.
-after I got to Gabbie's-
I knocked on the door and David opened it.
"I'm sorry David I meant to go to Gabbie's" I turned around starting to walk away.
"No, this is Gabbie's. Gabbie, Liza and me are all sharing a room" David smiled inviting me in.
I walk in and see Gabbie and Liza sitting on the bed watching YouTube together "Oh. Anyways. Gabbie I need your help, are you watching my videos?"
Gabbie shut her laptop "yes we are watching you and what can I help you with?"
I sat on the edge of the bed "so last night I slept over at Logan's"
"Oooooo" David did kissy faces.
"No nothing happened, he's my friend nothing more I swear" I lightly hit David's arm.
"So my dad called and asked where I was and I said at Gabbie's for a sleepover and this morning he wanted me to come to our room with Gabbie and he's going to ask you questions about what we did last night. Just play it cool Gabbie" I hoped Gabbie would go through with this plan.
-at Olivia's room-
"Mom, Dad! I'm alive!!" I walk in the door screaming.
Dad came running up to me and hugging me.
"Mom, Dad, this is Gabbie... Gabbie this is my mom and dad" I introduced them.
"Hello Gabbie, nice to meet you" my mom shook her hand.
"Gabbie, come inside and lets talk" dad asked Gabbie to come inside.
Gabbie came in and sat on the couch that was inside of the hotel room.
"So, what did you and Olivia do last night? Was it just you two?" Dad interrogated Gabbie.
"We just sat on the couch together and watched Netflix and ate popcorn. And yes it was just the two of us" Gabbie smiled.
-after dad asked Gabbie more about what me and her did last night-
"Today's the first day of Vidcon get ready guys" mom told us.
Gabbie went back to her room.
I walked into the bathroom with mom and I sat on the closed toilet and let her curl my hair.
"So how was dinner with Logan last night sweetie?" Mom plugged in the curling iron.
"It was good. We just talked about YouTube and how it changed us and also we talked about our past" I sat waiting for the iron to heat up.
"Do you see your relationship going anywhere?" Mom looked at me.
"We promised we would be just friends. Nothing more" I looked at my mom.
"We have to be down at 12 ladies and it's 11:45. Come on girl you look beautiful, both of you" dad stood in the bathroom doorway putting on his watch.
"Okay dad" I said as mom put down the curling iron.
