Goodnight, Goodbye

We met in the dark
Never expect a spark
You were a lighted bulb
While I'm trying not to sob

I saw light, I saw life
I forced myself to fight
Trying to ignore those
Trying to be close

You're too far from me
So that, I walked slowly
Carrying my fear and tiredness
You were my guide to happiness

I was in between
My suffering was fading
My eyes stopped crying
But my heart was beating

Closer and closer
What are you waiting for?
It's already midnight
Oh what a silent night

I stepped backward
Then I stepped forward
They are fighting inside
That's what I'm trying to hide

Blood flowing, tears falling
Liquid is widely spreading
The rain started, I offer my hand
You declined and moved backward

I love the rain, it hides my pain
But I can't have you as my guide
I can't hold you as my light
You can't be my life 'cause you're a light

We can't hold eachother
We can't be closer than closer
Because it's raining hard
Soon, we'll walk apart

Your light fades
I can't see your place
I can't feel your presence
Everything is in silence

Goodnight, my light
Thanks for the night
Goodbye, little bulb
See you next night

I woke up in daylight
You're nowhere to be found
I guess you're with the one
Like you, likes you, she won.
