For some reason, I couldn't have slept through the whole night.

The crippling fear that my body might be taken over and somehow use my powers to kill one of my friends tugs at me. The continuous tossing and turning to try and find an at least satisfying sleeping position and the snoring that emits from Flora were getting to me- all until I couldn't have taken it anymore. I groaned out in frustration as I threw the blanket to the lower end of my bed, pulling my hair back into a pony tail. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as I noticed Ava's bed was now vacant.

Where the hell could she be?

I sighed, grabbing the small device up into my hand, tapping onto Ava's icon to call her. I pitched out of my skin when Ava's phone began blaring throughout the room, her LED lights illuminating the dark room until I ended the call. Maybe she's downstairs. I rolled my neck around as I exited my bedroom softly, navigating down the hall. I stopped in the kitchen, pouring myself a glass of water- I'm not entirely up for tea. Just then, my phone vibrated in my hand- causing me to pitch yet again.

"Hel-"

"Carson! I-I, we need you right now. You, Flora, Ava- St-Stiles.. it's Stiles." Scott's frantic voice boomed through the speaker as I furrowed my eyebrows, my body instantly tensing up at the name Stiles.

"Hey- Scott, slow down babe. What's wrong with Stiles?" I questioned, hurriedly resting the glass of water down, pressing my hands onto the marble counter out of anxiety.

"He just called me, he doesn't know where he is. Carse- he sounds scared and he's bleeding.. He's missing- Carson." Scott's voice trembled out as I felt my body tense up yet again at the word missing.

I froze as I looked ahead of me, sighing out with frustration. "Flora and I will be there any minute. But there might be a delay, Ava's gone too. We'll meet you at the sheriff's station and I'll call Derek on the way." I lastly said before disconnecting the line after realizing that her keys were missing from the rack. I hurriedly made my way back up to my room, my heart beat rapidly increasing by the second. Why was Stiles missing? Where the hell did Ava venture off to without saying anything?

Neither of us know of their location, if there is any chance that they're together, I can only hope for the best. I vigorously shook Flora as I screamed her name out before I looked for a quick change of clothes. "Flora! You need to get up now."

Flora let out one last snore before she pitched up out of the land of slumber, her eyes blinking away the drowsiness. "What's going on? Where's Ava?" She questioned, sitting up. I shook my head as I threw a quick change of clothes her way, the pants unintentionally falling over her head. I don't think it would have been the best idea to go out into town in just shorts with a tank top.

"Both Ava and Stiles are missing. Ava left her phone, and I think Stiles may probably be in more danger- Scott said something about his leg bleeding." I raced out as I grabbed up my car keys.

"So what you're telling me is- that Stiles and Ava are probably frolicking around Beacon Hills on the coldest night of the year? And that no one at all knows of their location? Carson.. that isn't just a coincidence, maybe we should carry some ingredients to do a locator spell, maybe?" Flora spoke as she pulled on her last shoe, standing up from her bed. I nodded furiously at Flora's idea, making my way over to my table, freezing as I noticed the shortage of ingredients.

"Flora? Did you use any of the black ash recently?" I questioned, turning around with creased eyebrows. Flora shook her head, saying no. I cursed under my breath as I hurriedly racked all of the other ingredients into my bag along with my grimoire and Ava's brush and cellphone.
