I woke up with a massive headache, not exactly sure how long I was out. As I moved my arm to see the progress of its healing, I hissed out in discomfort. There was a tube attached to the vein in the middle of my arm.

"A little blood from your sweet pea."

Kate is using my blood, but for what?

The lower part of my spine had gotten shattered and my arm was broken. While my arm seems to be in a better state, my spine still needs some work to be done.

I looked around frantically to realize that the entire floor was covered in skeletons, all broken up into different pieces. I frowned as I finally took a good look around of where I was seated. "What the!" I breathed out.

I was in an inky space, with bars like a prisoner's room. I patted on the sides of me with my free hand and at no surprise, my phone was gone.

There's no doubt that we're in Mexico. La Iglesia, to be exact. The church ruins where we found Derek aged backwards.

"Scott!?" I called out quietly, hoping that he was in a cage near me. After a few moments of silence, I shook my head.

I then felt myself overcome with tears as I kicked a bone against the wall out of frustration. Though I did it with my leg, that action still pained my healing spine. It sent an unsettling shock straight up to it.

"Ow." I cried, laying back onto the chair that I was seated in.

"What a wimp."

My eyes bulged open as a familiar voice uttered a sentence that accurately fits the personality of whose voice I heard. As I looked to one side of me, there was emptiness. After looking to the other side, I pitched out of my skin as my eyes fell on my sister.

"This is not real." I shuttered out, closing my eyes tightly. After a few moments, I peeked an eye open.

"Still here!" Flora then sent a witty smile in my direction.

"God

"God. I lost so much blood I'm starting to lose it." I muttered as I refused to believe that Flora is actually next to me. I closed my eyes yet again, trying to strengthen my mind in the event somebody is trying to mess with it.

"You're a freakin' witch- Carson. I'm sure you know what astral projection is." Flora rushed out, her patience finally expiring.

I breathed out slowly, reopening my eyes to lay them onto Flora's figure yet again. My mouth opened and closed in a repeated fashion as I was at a lost for words. While I was so ecstatic that Flora was here with me, it also worries me.

"It's bad, huh?" I questioned, as I watched her frown with a nod. As I went to adjust my position, I cried out as a shock ran up through my spine. "It hurts, Flora. It hurts and I'm scared!" I blubbered out, shaking my head.
