When the reception was completed, we went back to our rooms. I went to the washroom, had one nice warm shower. I came out, took the saree which I have to wear tonight for my marriage. I got ready wearing my matching jewelry and applied makeup. I dried my hair and Bhavana did my hair. I am finally ready for my big day.

I went out and there I saw my dad staring at me with all happiness in the world. He came near me and kissed me on my forehead. I smiled at him looking deep into his eyes which are now filled with tears.
"Sorry, for all this princess. But you know that I love you right? " He told and my eyes welled up. I smiled and nodded at him saying " I love you too dad" and then I struggled to stop my tears that are about to fall from my eyes as they will ruin my makeup.
He took my hand in his and we started to go down. They have arranged the stage outside the house. When I went there and sat on the seat that I was supposed to sit, unknowingly my eyes searched for Vikky. But I didn't see him anywhere. Ritual started without him and after some 30 minutes, he came all dressed up like the perfect groom in the world.
Each detail of his dress, his face, his eyes, and his hair made me think of him as the perfect groom, I have ever seen in my life. Even though this marriage is happening against my will, I still blushed after seeing my groom which I felt a little awkward.

He came and sat beside me without looking into my eyes. I stopped staring at him as it felt a little disturbing. I can see that he was very nervous as I know this is all sudden and unexpected to him as well. All these days when I was feeling low, he supported me and always showed that he cares about me.
Somehow I can see that his hand that is sitting on his lap is shaking vigorously and out of the blue, I lifted my left hand and placed that on his shaking hand. He was stunned. He turned his head to see my face. Even though I am not facing him I still felt his eyes looking at the side view of my face. With that thought, I turned to see him and our eyes met.
