69.Old Story or New Story?

We finally reached airport and after our checking and standard procedures we were seated on our seats.I was allotted a window seat and Vikranth was sitting beside me.As soon as the flight took off I slept placing my head on his shoulder and he draped his arm around me securing me from falling on the other side.Once we reached he woke me up and we got down and boarded a cab and reached home.

I was very tired by now.As soon as we reached our room I collapsed on my bed and he smiled at my action."Princess go and freshen up first.Let's have some lunch and then you have your full day to sleep dear." I shook my head without bothering to get up from this position."I am not hungry.I am seriously deprived of my sleep now.I need some sleep.You go ahead to your hospital.I will sleep and once I feel okay I will go see Preethi.I had to catch up with her on so many things." He nodded and kissing my forehead he left the room.

I slept for some time and when I woke up it was already dark.I got up and went to washroom.After getting ready I locked the door and went outside.I booked cab to one park where I went for the first time with Preethi so many days back when I first came to Delhi.I went inside the park.The climate was too good and pleasant.I can feel the sound of air and birds all around me.It is difficult to find such a pleasant atmosphere in a city like Delhi.I can feel the cool breeze that is tickling me and that made my heart happy for some unknown reason.

I picked my phone and dailed Preethi's number and she lifted the call after 3 rings."Oh My God.You remember me still?"

I chuckled and replied "Yeah.Of course I do remember you.Are you busy right now?Can we meet?"

She remained silent for some time and then she replied "Yeah Sure.Where do you want me to come?"

I gave her the address of the park that I was staying still now.She replied "Yeah.I will be there in 15 mins.Okay?"

"Yeah.I will be waiting for you.Just call me once you reach."

She told okay and disconnected the call.After some 20 minutes she came and found me and sat beside me with smirk on her face.I turned and when i noticed her presence beside me I was startled as I thought she will call me when she reaches the park but no here she is sitting beside me.I turned and smiled at her.She wrapped her arms around me pulling me into a tight hug.I smiled at her and returned that hug as well.

"I missed you dear.And you have left me when there were so many unresolved questions in my mind.I almost went crazy you know?" I nodded at her childishness and when we broke our hug I replied "I missed you too dear.Yeah I know.I didn't get time to explain to you.I have revealed that I was married right?" She nodded and she folded her hands as if preparing to listen to whatever I was about to say.

"You know that I came in the middle year from Bangalore to Delhi and I was staying at aunt's house right?" She nodded and I continued "My dad was not feeling well and he asked me to marry Vikranth all of a sudden.I don't know that he was not feeling well but as I love my dad a lot I married Vikranth and came to Delhi.Later I came to know that my dad has cancer and that is the reason I went back home last week." She nodded and said "Yeah I know.Vikranth called me and informed and asked me to inform the management about your absence also."

I sighed and said "Yeah.And about that day when I cried like hell and revealed about my secret?That girl is Meghna.They both were in relationship before we got married.That was a kind of misunderstanding and I have reacted like a shit on that day." She laughed and patted on my hand.

"I can understand Amy.Seeing the person you love in other's arms is not at all easy." She said and her eyes and voice was so deep. I raised my eyebrows and replied "I didn't love him at that time Preethi.I seriously don't know why I have reacted like that.We were not that much close back at that time." She sighed and said "Does that mean you love him now and you guys are close now?"
