54.Come back

We went inside with my hand still in his hand and once we were in hall he closed the door behind.He turned to look at me and leaving my hand alone he said "I am seriously hungry.I will see if there is food in kitchen or else I will order something from outside."

Saying so he went inside kitchen.I stood there without planning to move as I am still trying to process the things that happened a little while ago.We were that much close.If he inched a little we both will end up kissing.

It's not that I want him to kiss me or something.But wait.Why the hell am I thinking all these things.I should start hating him now after I came to know all the things that he was doing with Meghna without my knowledge.

I snapped back to reality from my stupid and meaningless thoughts when I heard a loud thud sound from the kitchen.I immediately rushed towards Kitchen to see what made that sound.

I saw Vikranth kneeling on ground and picking few plates that might have dropped from his hands by mistake.When he saw me standing at the entrance of kitchen he immediately frowned and trying to pick those pieces of plates faster which were broken already.

I moved a little front and hovering myself in front of him on my knees I swatted his hand away and said "I will take care of this.You will get hurt because of those broken pieces."

He smiled and removed his hand from there but he didn't stand and leave.He was staring me intently when I was trying to clear the mess that he has created in the kitchen.

When I looked at him he turned his face away and as if trying to compose himself he said standing up and pulling his phone from his pocket "There is no food in home now.I will order something.What do you want to eat?"

While putting those pieces in dustbin and clearing that plates I opened refrigerator and saw whether there were any vegetables inside such that I can cook.I Don't want him to eat my hand cooked food or something but I seriously need some time from him to put my mind back in track.

If we order something we have to wait for that to come and that will leave me alone with him again with nothing to do to divert my mind and my stupid heart that is still racing fast because of the feeling that he is in the same room standing near to me.

After confirming that I can cook something with the things that are there in my kitchen I turned to face him leaning my back against wall and folding my hands across my chest I said "I want to cook.There are few things here with which I can cook food for both of us."

Without waiting for his reply or his consent I started taking Vegetables and washing them.After I kept all the fresh vegetables outside he kept his phone inside his pocket and came near the wash basin.After Washing his hands he started cutting the vegetables without asking me if I need his help or not.

I was not comfortable with him being around me but see my luck.He was cooking with me.I thought of cooking now because I felt that if I cook now I can be away from him in kitchen and he will do whatever he want in hall.But there goes my plan.

I tried pushing the image of him cutting the vegetables with his broad shoulders.I tried but I was not able to ignore his presence here.He was looking too hot in his crumbled shirt and when he was cutting those vegetables I can see how his muscles get flexed and his biceps were like trying to come out of his shirt.

I saw the sweat that was forming around his neck and that felt very hot.I stared at him intently and moved my eyes to scan his full body and when I reached his face I felt his eyes in my direction saying that he was looking at me and he noticed that I was staring at him all this time.

I immediately moved my eyes down and biting my lips to reduce my embarrassment I started my cooking and when I was busy with cooking I felt his eyes on me.He was standing beside me watching whatever I am doing.I can feel the discomfort in the room as the things between us were not normal.
