52.A nightmare

After sometime I heard my phone ringing and I saw the caller name.It was Vikranth.I disconnected the call and breaking my hug with bhavs I went into washroom.

I started tap and washed my face and when I was about to come out of washroom I heard my phone ringing again.I stopped moving as I know who was the person on phone.

I stayed in the room for sometime and I heard bhavs voice from outside the door.I cannot hear the complete conversation but I can guess by bhavs words what they were talking about.

I heard bhavs saying "Hey Vikranth.Sorry.Amy slept here."

After some time she again said "No it's okay.I will bring her tomorrow along with me.Dont bother to come here."

After some time gap she said "Yeah.She had dinner with me.She might be too tired Vikranth.She didn't have enough sleep right.She will be okay.Dont worry."

I laughed after hearing her words.That person is seriously something.He was spending time with Meghna on my back and he was asking bhavs whether I had dinner or not?How can he be this misterious.

I waited for confirmation that there was no voice from outside stating that she has ended the call.After some time I went outside and noticed that bhavs was staring at me intently waiting for my response.

When my eyes met with her she said "It's Vikranth Amy.He was asking whether you had dinner or not and I told that you had dinner and you will sleep with me here for today.I told that tomorrow I will bring you directly."

I nodded in agreement without opening my mouth and went and lied down on the bed and pulled the duvet such that it covers till my waist.I turned other side such that my back is facing her.

She came near me and holding me tightly she asked "You want to talk about that?"

I didn't speak anything and I guess she understood that I was not interested to speak about what made me cry.

She said "Amy.Just keep in mind that whatever happens I will always be there to listen to you."

I turned to face her and hugging her I said "I know.But I want to deal with this on my own bhavs.Let me handle this."

She nodded and kissed my forehead and I slept holding her tightly.Even my dad was away from me and the person who married me is possibly cheating on me with his girlfriend but I still have bhavs who cares and loves me and I am happy for that.

I slept off and woke up in the morning because of a nightmare.I saw Meghna and Vikranth standing in my room hugging each other.I opened the room and when Vikranth saw me he smiled and tightening the grip on her he said "We had history princess.Our marriage was only out of charity.I felt sad as your father's health is deteriorating and accepted to marry you.That doesn't mean I will stop loving Meghna.I love her.I only love her."

With that words I woke up and sat on bed abruptly making bhavs to wake as well.She immediately got up and held me as I was literally shaking as if I have seen a lion in my dream.With concern and care in her voice she said moving the hair that was falling on my face because of my sudden waking "What happened dear?Bad dream?"

I nodded and got up from bed and went to washroom.After getting fresh I came outside and wore bhavs dress and said to her "Let's go directly to hospital bhavs.I want to see dad first."

"But I told Vikranth that I will bring you home and from there we all can go together to hospital.What will he think if we say that we will go directly to hospital?"she said with worry written all over her face.

"Seriously I don't care what he thinks and how he feels bhavs.I am going to hospital even if you don't come.So it's up to you.You want to come with me or you want me to go alone.This is Bangalore and that is my dad's hospital.I went there so many times from my childhood.I can go there alone."I said and without waiting for her reply I started packing my hand bag and turned towards the door to leave the room.

She dragged me by holding my wrist and held her hand over my shoulder and hugging me by one side she said with smile on her face "Wait Mrs Jhansi Lakshmi bhai.I know that you are strong, independent and whatever..But chill madam.I didn't mean to sound harsh and you know very well that I will not allow you to go alone.I know that you are angry on your husband but don't show that on poor me."

She said pouting her mouth like a small child who was pissed off because of her sister.I smiled at her and placed my hand around her waist and said "I know.I am sorry.I just don't want to see him now.I love you bhavs.But I can't tell you what happened.Not until I decide what to do myself."

She nodded and hugged me back and said extending her hand with her palm facing upwards "Okay.I will give you your space but please promise me that you will not do anything that will make you regret later."

I nodded and promised her by placing my hand on top of her already extended hand and smiled at her.We went downstairs and met aunt and uncle and after having breakfast we started to hospital.

My phone started ringing and I gave phone to bhavs as I was not prepared to talk to him still.She informed him that we are going to hospital first and as I was missing my dad I rejected to go to home first.

I think he believed her as she said that he agreed to meet us at hospital in some time.I was not at all interested to meet or see him but still I decided not to think about him from now on.

We reached hospital in some time and I went inside my dad's room after consulting the doctor who was checking my dad.I didn't plan on crying today as I don't want my dad to feel bad for me.I chatted with my dad for sometime about my college,new life and all.I lied to him whenever he asked something about me and Vikranth.

But I felt happy as he was very much pleased to know that I am doing good with my husband.When I was talking with him door opened suddenly and someone entered the room.I didn't turn to see because I clearly know that perfume smell and that person came and stood behind me.

I didn't turn but suddenly he placed his both hands around me and hugged me from back.My heart beat raised and I felt butterflies fluttering in my stomach.I know that he was doing this only to show my dad that we were happy but still I felt attached to him for a second.

I can smell his body odour and his perfume and I liked that very much.He moved little closer and when he came very near to me he whispered in my ear moving my hair a little bit such that only I can hear "Good morning princess."
