34.Angry?

I went down and hugged my dad and bhavs. My dad promised me that he would be back in one week. I started crying when my dad hopped into his car. They didn't allow me to go to the airport to give a sendoff. They know that I will cry there also watching them leave.

Vikky went with my dad and I was left at home along with Kavya. I went to my room and after lying in bed for some time my eyes closed and I fell into a deep sleep.

I woke up because of sounds that were coming from my room in a hushed voice. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Vikky at the edge of the room talking on the phone trying not to disturb my sleep.

He was hot and I kept staring at his face while he was talking without realizing that I was awake now. He kept his phone and then turned in my direction suddenly catching me staring at him intently.

He smiled and I suddenly closed my eyes trying to hide the fact that I was staring at him till now. After some time I opened my eyes again and now he was sitting beside me on his side of the bed. As soon as he saw me open my eyes he smiled at me.

He asked "Still angry princess?" And moved a little bit closer to me.

I moved away from him and got up. Without answering I went inside the washroom and after washing my face I came out. He was still staring at me with a smile on his face.

I asked with anger in my face "Why are you smiling like that?"

He smiled a little more and said, "You are angry."

I asked "So? What is there to smile in that?"

He said leaning on the bed resting on his elbow and facing towards me. "Your dad left. Ideally, you should be feeling sad about that. But you are angry princess and the reason is me. Somehow the thought is bringing happiness to me."

I gasped at his statement. It's true. My dad left and I should be sad about that. But here I am angry at Vikranth completely forgetting about my dad and bhavs. How come he became more important to me than my dad?

Even though he reminded me about the fact my mind is coming back to his mistake forgetting my dad again and again. God, what's wrong with me?

He waved his hand in front of me and then I snapped back to reality. I stuttered "Nothing like that. He will return in a week so what is there to worry?"

He got up and said "Okay. Whatever you say, princess. Come let's have dinner."

I turned my head and checked my phone." I am not hungry. I don't want to eat anything now." I said hoping he would leave me alone now.

He stopped walking and turned towards me he said "You know that I will not let you stay without eating princess. I guess you came to know that by now."

I remembered how he forcefully fed me food in the car this afternoon. So instead of creating a scene again I got up from my bed, followed him silently, and ate my dinner with my new family.

Once dinner was done I came back and without waiting for him I slept. I noticed the door getting opened and I could feel him staring at me for some time. After some time, he slept with me turning to the other side.

When I woke up in the morning I didn't see Vikky in the room but I saw the dress on the bed which I was supposed to wear. How can he care about me even though some other girl is there in his life? I can't even come out of the fact that he thought of marrying Meghna. If our marriage didn't happen they might be in a relationship by now.

I returned to my senses when my phone rang and that was from Dad. I answered the call and he said that he had reached safely and bhavs left for her home and he was going to the hospital now. After speaking with him for some time I got up and went to the washroom. I wore that dress and did a little makeup and set my hair.

When I went down I greeted Aunty and Kavya. I asked about Uncle and Kavya told that he left for the office as he had some urgent work to do. I went and sat beside Kavya. Now I missed my dad as I used to sit beside him during breakfast.

My eyes searched for Vikky. When I turned a little left to search I saw him coming out from the kitchen with a glass of juice in his hand. He caught me staring at him and smiled.

"Good morning princess. Looking beautiful in this dress."He said sitting in front of me and placing that glass of juice near me.

As it would look odd if I didn't respond I said "Good morning and thank you. You are looking good too." He smiled once again and I was not wrong before. He really looked good in his formal attire.

When we finished breakfast I left to sit in the car and he came after some time we started to my college. We didn't speak for some time and after 10 minutes he spoke "Missing your dad?"

I didn't say anything but shifted my eyes to the other side staring outside the window. He turned towards me and asked "Princess. Are you okay? Still angry with me?"

Seriously? What did he try to do that my anger goes away? He didn't even bother explaining the whole scenario.

He stopped the car and I turned to see him as I am not sure why he did that when we are not anywhere near my college.

He spoke "Princess we will not go to hospital and college today and we will go somewhere else. We will roam today and then we can sort out all those things. What do you say?" His eyes were delighted and I could say watching his expression that he was seriously asking me out.

I thought for some time and then said "Yeah.Okay.I will come but this has nothing to do with you. I am not interested in going to college and I am missing my dad so I want to take a rest today."

He smiled and started the car. I messaged Preethi saying as my dad left yesterday I was not feeling well and would not come to college today. She replied that she would take care of attendance and told me to rest well.

I kept my phone down and turned to see my husband. He is smiling while driving the car. I am on my way to my first date with my husband with whom I have been fighting for about 2 days from now. God save me, please.
