64.Reunion

Once we completed our breakfast we all started to hospital.We went to meet my dad.He was looking pale and there was clear visibility that he was not in his best condition but he was doing good compared to the previous time I visited him.We talked for some time and everyone left the room and I was left all alone with him.He asked me with a glint of hope in his eyes "You are not angry at me for making you marry him out of my own interest?" I shook my head and leaning little closer I took his hand into mine.I looked deeply into his eyes to make him realize that I was speaking to my heart's content "I am not at all angry at you before and not even now.I was sad at that time dad when you asked me to marry him I felt sad but I never was angry on you."

He nodded in agreement and then continued his series of questions "I have never had this discussion with you before and I know this is too late but still I want you to be honest with me." I nodded and he continued "Is there anyone in your life whom you loved and wanted to marry in your past Princess?" I laughed at his question and said "No dad.If I had anyone like that I might have told you then it self.But Now I have a person whom I love and thanks to you he is already my husband.SO just chill." There was a wide smile on his face when he heard my words.He was so happy now that whatever he did turned out to be success.

I smiled at his happy face and said "Take care dad.You need to rest more.Stop worrying about me as you are the one about whom we all should be worried about." He smiled and closed his eyes slowly.I covered him with blanket and wiped the small tear drop that formed at the tip of my right eye and came out.When I came out I saw Vikranth talking with Bhavs and when I saw her she smiled and I returned that smile."How was your assignment?All good?" I asked sitting next to Kavya who was very busy with her phone.She smiled and came near to me along with Vikranth. She sat beside me and said "Yeah.A little hectic but the result was good.At last I completed.I don't know how I forgot about that.Usually I am good at those things." I nodded and patted her hand and said "This few months were hectic to you as well Bhavs. You have been with me through out my problems and its natural to forget something when your mind is filled with your best friend's problems." I winked at her and she laughed at that.

Vikranth came near me and looking at me he said "Girls!Mom and dad have some work and so they will see that and come back after some time.We will also go for lunch and spend some solid time?" I nodded and turned towards Bhavs. She said turning towards me and Vikranth "I am okay with lunch but after that I have to go to exhibition. There is this super cute art exhibition and all my friends are going there and when they asked me I told yes.So I can't ditch them now." Kavya immediately reacted and said "I too want to go to art exhibition." I smiled and said to Vikranth "Then lunch and art exhibition it seems" He chuckled and we started to our car.

We went to one good restaurant and while we are eating I remembered the dinner date that he took me to and the turn of events during the same night.He noticed my change of expression and he smiled at me winking at the same time.I smiled and returned a blush as reaction.We ate lunch and we talked about few random things and I have noticed that Kavya was awfully silent and she was continuously staring at her mobile through out the lunch.When we finished we went to the art exhibition and as I never had been to one I started roaming and I liked one exhibit a lot.It is modern art and I felt like I was in middle of the mother nature's beautiful creation.
