31.I like you a bit

We started dancing slowly and the music was changed from hip-hop to a romantic number suddenly. We didn't talk or I didn't see his face for a while and I kept dancing like that and in the middle, I saw Meghna's expression which was very dark now.

I lifted my eyes when I heard him speak "I was just explaining why I was missing for 5 hours. Nothing else."

I understood what he was trying to say. He is giving me an explanation for that talk between Meghna and him. I blinked my eyes and without leaving contact I asked "Why should you give an explanation to her?"

I immediately regretted what I had asked. I shouldn't have asked him like that. They are friends and he himself said that they were kind of close before our wedding. And most importantly we are just trying to be friends. So I don't have any right to question him like that.

When he opened his mouth to answer my question I stopped him from speaking and blurted "Sorry. Don't answer that. I am not sure why I have asked that question in the first place."

He smiled and changed the steps that we had repeated for 10 minutes he rolled me to the other side and immediately dragged me to himself making me fall on his chest and now we were in an intimate romantic dancing position.

He said looking into my eyes deeply "Jealousy". I stared into his eyes and he continued "That is the reason right?"

I didn't answer his question as I didn't know the answer myself. Is it jealousy that I was feeling a moment before when I saw them talking together?

When I was confused about how to respond to that, the song changed and we were broken apart. He didn't leave my hand and took me to one corner on the other side of the room.

He left my hand and when I was thinking about my present situation he handed me a glass of juice and I looked at him. He was holding a glass himself.
