83.Let's Take a Break

I searched for him in all possible rooms and at last as my last trail I went towards stairs.He was there sitting on one stair and staring outside through the window that was open.His phone is beside him and it is continously flashing its screen meaning that he is getting call which he is not able to hear as that was probably in silent mode.

I went near him and took his phone into my hand and saw that Dean is calling him.He didn't even notice my presence there.He is thinking very deeply and all his concentration was somewhere else.

"You are getting a phone call from your Dean."I said and that made him snap his head in my direction.There was no expression in his face.He moved his eyes once to my left hand where his phone was located and then to my right hand where food was located.And as if he is facing a stranger he turned his head again back towards the window making me roll my eyes.

"Stop avoiding me."I said and kept his plate and phone beside him on a step above to the one he is sitting now.

"I am avoiding you?This is interesting."He said and there was a glint of smile that is playing on his lips and I know that he was faking that smile.

"How do you expect me to react when you suddenly told me that you are leaving to London?"I asked holding my hands around my chest as if I was trying to act more intimidating.

"For sure not the way how you reacted and wait a minute.Did you just say I was leaving?Where did that come from?I told we have to leave.Not me."He clarified but his tone of voice was loud enough to tell me that he was not at all taking this light.

I gasped and then sat beside him maintaining a safe distance between us."I can't"I said looking at my fingers that were playing happily with each other sitting on my lap.

"What do you can't?"He asked turning to look at me.

I didn't dare to meet his eye sight."I can't come with you to London."I said.And there was silence for some time which ate my confidence and if he was not going to talk in some time I am sure that I will make him talk.I should end this discussion now.

But to my dismay he spoke first."Why?Why don't you want to come with me?"he asked and his voice was very low as if he is whispering to me.

"I can't leave my whole life back here and come with you all the way to London Vikranth.I simply can't."I said and he didn't speak anything.

"I already left back my life.I married you.I left my previous college,friends,city.I left Bangalore and came to Delhi.I joined college there.I made new friends.I got new family.I am not saying I am not happy.I am happy.But I used to be me when I was in Bangalore.I lost my identity somehow and If I agree to come to London with you I am afraid that I will completely lose myself."

"This marriage was sudden for me as well.I also lost few and I took so many responsibilities that I was not planning on taking in some time."He said rubbing his face with his hands once.

"I know.I agree with you.We both got through so many things which we don't deserve.But going to different country leaving my father and friends back here is entirely on a new level Vikranth.I am sorry but I don't think I can do that."

"This was my dream Princess. I have dreamt of this for five years and at last I got this .I know I am asking more from you. But one last time. I promise I will never again ask you to do something that you don't want or like to do. Please.One last time . For me and for our future."

I smiled at him. He was requesting me. I shouldn't feel happy for his helplessness. But I was happy. It shows me how much important I am for him in his life.
